Talented player. But he's not the gorilla keeper that i think we're really after.

No but hes the 3rd tall that we need to replace Garland.

Watch out for Mitch White.

who?!

Wears number 41. On the rookie list, played a game last year and has consistently been in Casey's best.

There was some talk going around That Michael Hibberd from the Dons has been in talks with us, close mates with Melksham and another supposed player that is really not happy with the supplements saga take it with a grain of salt? I know he isn't tall like we need but I would be open to the idea if he decides to come?

don't like how our names aren't linked to Cam Marchbank like other clubs are.

Come on, mate. You know better than that. You think that means we haven't made contact?

I thought he was good before his toe injury last year.

His presence down back certainly helped Tom McDonald.

Where's this fallacy come from? Frost played forward last year.

His left peg would be handy off half back.

Saw that Hibbard post on the Facebook pages.

definitely wouldn't say no to him.

The plot thickens ... ie ....  opportunities exist

O'Mac and Frost could be good defenders however we need 2 good defenders and still need a CHF. Frost may end up as a forward who knows. White could fill a defence position at 188 cmm but we still need a monster. A backup ruckman come forward/defender  would be great. I think Dunn and Garland days are numbered as defenders.

Are you serious? We have the best young CHF in the game. Hulett or more likely Weideman will play FF. I reckon we could do with someone like Hurley, but we could do without him if our midfield and half forward line improves.

Adam on this occasion I disagree we need to develop or draft some big backs. Like North Melbourne. Irrespective of our mids and forwards.

Each to their own, Ernest. :) Just my opinion, but the way I see the game going will be more about structures, zones and role playing in the back half. This is already where the game is at, but it'll only increase with time.

Good point Adam but we need to have some big backs as part of this structure as well as the Wagners and Hunts etc. Perhaps I can mitigate my comment by saying at least one mobile key position player like uhmmmmm.......Hurley.  So we are in agreement after all.

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
