Caught up with facts.

I'd be jumping over the fence too. He did it to protect his legs from crashing straight into a steel fence

Doesn't look like a reflex action to protect oneself to me... and where was the concern showed for the opposition player once they had gone over the fence? Just turned around and walked off

To me this was damning...even if it was unintentional as he claimed as Garland changed direction into him  - he had zero interest in the aftermath of his action. 

It was a cheap shot , simple as that.  Was a dog act and he got collared.
