A great tagger for sure, but he is not what we need. I think I'd vomit if he came to the club.

like maximillian did?

like maximillian did?

Ever seen The Exorcist? Something like that.

I have no interest in picking him up, but I would have some interest in getting him to the club to train in the lead up to the drafts if that was allowed.

If he is a good trainer and kept himself in good shape despite being out all year then he could bring a bit of leadership and a ruthless edge to the training track.

I'm not sure anyone would give him a 2nd chance but being in Melbourne might be his best shot to impress clubs. Just a bit of out of the box thinking.

Hmmm maybe a one year contract for me at a low price. I take it we all remember the last 3 or 4 games before round 22 this year? You know when we got absolutely smashed in the first and much of the second quarters before trying to salvage something.! The games that showed our leadership group is an absolute farce. Yes we have some potential, some real talent but God we need some mongrel. Crowley will give us a dose and play a role. I am not advocating it necessarily yes but I am open to it, especially if he helps make us a bit more nasty to play against. And he brings a professional standard of training etc.

Simple for me, if we were looking for someone who plays selfless footy, is great for culture, a great role model, in great shape...only problem a few years on the clock then we wouldn't have retired DANIEL CROSS....

Of course we're not interested in Crowley.

  • PREVIEW: Brisbane

They really had me fooled when I picked them with great confidence to beat the Bombers at Gather Round last week. I should have recognised that nothing is more quintessentially Melbourne than defeating the undefeated early premiership favourite one week and losing to a winless cellar dweller on its way to establishing a record losing streak the next.
