Thanks for the service Ro. If nothing else, you always tried your guts out.

I thought he was handy depth for his first seven years, even though he was probably never best 22 in that time. But his form this year was awful, and clearly his time was up.

I don't know what happened over last summer but he went from a handy depth player in 2014 to an utter liability in 2015.

I was an unashamed fan at start but sadly he just never kicked on.

No doubt all the knocks to the head didn't help his cause.

If he had a decent preseason I think he is Captain material.

As mentioned, someone who whilst lacking a high level of natural skill/talent, worked his butt off to get the most out of his time with us.

The series of concussion issues he had to deal with a season or two ago clearly did not help but, to be brutally honest, he was always, to some degree, on 'borrowed time'.

71 games is a pretty fair return - his endurance and commitment were second to none.
