Quote button not working? and double posting issues

Featured Replies

I've had a poster say that the quote button is not working but I am not able to replicate the issue with the same OS and Browser.

Is anyone else having the same issue and could you let me know which Operating System (Windows, Mac, iPhone, Android) and which Browser (IE, Firefox, Chrome) you are using?

Also please make sure your browsers are updated to the current version.

Any help and info would be appreciated so I can work out what is causing it.

Yes, I have been having the same problem with that also.

Quote works for me on Firefox but I still have problems with double replies on all my gear.

IE. Firefox and Safari.

All hardware Windows 7 Desk top, Windows 8.1 laptop and iPad.

But I love the site so I just put up with it.

PS See dc 's comment

Yeh I've had that occur also.

I think it happens when your writing a post, but someone enters a post while your still writing.

Thats what i thought was happening anyway.

Happens on every post I do

I might have to get Nasher to look into that one.

Gee I bet you are glad you asked that question???

for me it happens more times than not

i think it coincided with a version update of chrome but that is more guess than fact

I think this is the culprit for the double posting.

When you are doing a fast reply and someone else posts something and you hit POST it hangs and then when you hit POST again it produces the double post.

Over to Nasher as that is above my pay grade.
