when Roosy drafted big bird

Featured Replies

this was on ch9 news and I came across this on the website. Good to see Roosy have a sense of humour and as Maxy was missing I wonder if he suited up.

bIg of light hearted entertainment. Not sure how he'd go in the ruck though. But he would be my niece's favourite player. She loves big bird.

Lol Classic.

Ps Russian is one scary looking man. Wouldn't look out of place in a big Hollywood action block buster movie!

Saw him as a junior. Bit unco. He is fine with his tap work in the middle with that beak, but he is too slow and a liability around the ground. Also, as a resting forward, once the ball hits the deck he is useless below the knees (beak gets in the way). I don't know what Roos was thinking???? Always thought Oscar the Grouch was a better option off the HBF...... bloody recruiters.

Funny - Fitzpatrick always reminded me of Beaker.......

With the way Russian is looking with that beard, he might double as Sweetums (from the Muppet show)! He looks as intimidating!

Agree big bird is a dead ringer of fitzy

  • PREVIEW: Brisbnae

They really had me fooled when I picked them with great confidence to beat the Bombers at Gather Round last week. I should have recognised that nothing is more quintessentially Melbourne than defeating the undefeated early premiership favourite one week and losing to a winless cellar dweller on its way to establishing a record losing streak the next.
