This site seems to be more about dees supporters attacking other dees supporters. GET OVER IT!!!

Obvious extreme exaggeration. And if other Dee supporters ever behave badly at the game (hard to imagine, I know) I can't see why that shouldn't be mentioned. BELLOWING IN CAPS IS UNPERSUASIVE!!

The worst behavior I have ever seen at the footy was Melb v WC and a bloke was screaming racist abuse at the indigenous players. In the MCC Ladies Stand and he was a Melbourne supporter. Had a word and got threatened with violence. Every club has [censored] supporters but some more than others. Richmond games are interesting. The ones I hate the most are the smug and patronizing Hawks. How to win without any grace whatsoever.

I just pray that will be me one day.

There's no winning with grace in footy. When your team wins, you give it to the other supporters as much as you can because it comes back the other way, we all know that.

Because claiming there was racial abuse on here without reporting it to the MCC staff at the time is gutless. I'm also sick of people on here bagging the dees and their supporters and attacking each other in snide ways about silly little things like using capitals when frustrated, etc.

So, you've got more guts than most, you're not snide or petty, and internet etiquette is beneath you. Onya.

Fair dinkum mate, you fired the first shot.

When I was a young man I used to work at windy hill pulling beers below the stand downstairs

I worked there a whole season .

And all that time I had to listen to Essendon supporters going on about how great their team was.

However if we barracked for a team other then Essendon we had to keep our traps shut that's if we wanted to keep working there .

They were always trying it on with me, asking who I barracked for and why wasn't it Essendon .

Id just shrug my arms and ignore them as best I could.

Anyway it was coming to the end of the season and I wasn't going to be working there again next year so I asked my Boss could I wear my Melbourne Beanie to work as Melbourne was playing Essendon the next week. He agreed and so I did

So that week, I donned my old beanie and stood behind the bar ready to poor my first beer .

It was pretty dim downstairs not much Natural light

But then up comes one of the old regulars "Jack "who sighted my Beanie and said for Christs sake you are a

'Essendon Supporter after all'

I said no Jack take a closer look . LOL

Finally he realised it was Dark Blue and Red not Black and Red

He then let out a oath that could be heard across the bar !

For some reason that day I didn't pull to many beers and it only got better for me later on as Melbourne ended up winning the game on the day

Definitely one of the more pleasurable days I experienced at Windy Hill I was allowed listen to the results as the game went on above me :)

Almost as good as the one when Melbourne was down and out and Essendon supporters were bucketing on us as the margin only got larger in their favor each quarter.

But on that day two Melbourne players took the game by the horns in the last quarter .

A Young Ricky Jackson and a very solid Darren Bennett one of the most incredible come from behind games I have ever had the privilege to watch pretty much like this last match last weekend

There is one thing I have noticed though , it definitely is sweeter each time we win ROTFL !!!

Still one of my favourite games that one DS.

It was a far tougher ask than last week's comeback - we were 34 points down with 14 minutes to go in the final term.

I think Bennett booted three or four - including a couple of booming drop punts from near the centre square - as we piled on 7 goals in a barnstorming finish.

I have that Epic on VHS...my last visit to that cesspool of a dump.

Never meant to start a fight. Every team has idiot supporters was my point. The incident mentioned happened in the 90s when racism was not condemned as it is now, thank God, there were no attendants about as it was the genteel Ladies Stand (which is a figment of my imagination it seems)and you can have a go at me sonny when you have supported this club for 54 years and been a paid up member for most of your adult life.

Not necessarily obba. My understanding is that while the name was changed the location still bore the name - perhaps for sentimental reasons. In a similar way you often hear the cricket commentators refer to the "old bay 13 area" during the Melbourne test.

The Bomber supporters around me at work have gone strangely (or not so strangely) quiet. As have Blues and Tiger supporters haha. I still gave it to em at every chance though along with a mechanic in our workshop.

Really hoping we hit the Roo boys hard this week. Shocking record against them in recent times and i'm dead sick of losing to em....especially at their specialist ground where they are harder to beat (Shitihad).

And the next cab off the rank....Hawks supporters. Probably have the highest percentage of arrogant supporters i've ever encountered. There was one at work, who i suspect isn't even a paid up member, slagging off at me and workshop guy during the week. He was laughing as he said "you must feel as if you've won a premiership?". I Said "Funny mate, but nope. Won the last 5 outta 6 ... got the wood on em....result wasn't even in question" walked away laughing at his ignorance. And this coming from a turncoat who changed from Geelong in the mid 90's lol.

I would rank Hawk supporters No.1 on my hit list followed by Bombers, Pies, Roos and last but not least Adelaide (roughly in that order). The other annoying and unjustly noisy fans around the workplace tend to be Blues supporters still seemingly living off their success of the 70's and 80's. I find many of them are big talkers and severley one eyed. However, most aren't even members or, if they are, they only joined in the last 4 to 5 years once they started seeing a bit of a turn around after Juddy joined. That's not to say many of the supporters and members from these same clubs aren't decent either, there are plenty of good people amongst them as well. Just my view of who has the "most" arrogant mix from my own personal experience over many years.

Who cares what he silly stand was called? Racism was always wrong. I was born in 1959 I doubt that I could be your son

We agree 100% on racism. I did what I could in the circumstances at personal risk. I object to be called a troll for a perfectly reasonable post. Lets leave it at that. And thanks Master Demon.

And this was the important part of my original post. Hawthorn supporters are appalling. They are smug and patronizing and are the worst winners in the AFL. Born to rule. Edited by obbafan

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session.
