A tentative yes here, but will just be making up numbers as needed. Zero endurance, little speed and a knee that gives way if I try and kick more than 30 m.

Will try speak with Shifu demon and see if he is interested. Will let you know later in the week.

Thanks, mate...

But it is starting to look like us older types will not have to risk life and limb...

We could sure do with your off-field help, however...

Hope to see you Sunday...

Just double checking, do we need specific shorts/socks, or is any colour ok?

Just a jumper, mate, don't worry about the rest..

I am getting close to sending to all a summary of do's and don'ts...

I send it every time, but newbies have no way of knowing, sorry...

We've done this so many times we tend to forget the new people...

I'll be there rollo but might not be able to play - come down with a nasty gut problem so it's a bit wait-and-see right now.

sorry to hear that, mate...

but don't worry about numbers...

we have my ideal number of confirmed players to make sure that we field a team...

and to make sure that people can head to the bench whenever they want...

there will be a job for you if you cannot play...

Look forward to seeing you Sunday...

Best of luck with the fixture Rollo, good to se you are still up and about old timer

Cheers mate, looking forward to sunday :)

have been trying to explain to my clients why I am not working Sunday...

I started with "I'm organising a footy match," but that required explanations that are too difficult and time-consuming...

You see, there are these people that post on an unofficial footy forum, and they play real footy games against people who post on other forums, and this is more important than your legal problem etc...

Now my people just say I have a family commitment...

anything for an easy life...

Sorry, but it looks like I am a non starter.

Good luck to the boys and I hope Rollo, you and all involved, have an enjoyable day.

Here is notice sent to all this evening:-

Reminder we are playing this coming Sunday, March 2 at 11:00 am at Gosch’s paddock.

Melway map reference 2G E10.

Train to Richmond station, walk south down Punt Road (city side). If you come to Boulton Parade, you have gone too far.

CAR. Free parking may be available at Punt Road Oval. If not, you can try the Richmond side streets south of Swan Street, but I prefer the commercial car parks in Swan Street. There is one east of the intersection with Punt Road and one west of that intersection.

WEATHER. Extended forecast says 27 degrees, warm and humid.

People, its Melbourne so bring WATER and SUNSCREEN!!!

Helpers, we have never had enough additional water, so please do not slack off on your commitments.

Everyone, please bring additional jumpers (if you have them) for players without.

Scotty from Bomberblitz is organising a gold coin donation for Bushfire Relief.

See you Sunday at 10.30 am or thereabouts.

Players and helpers who have not committed, or who are late apologies, please update your status by posting on the thread on Demonland, by sending me a pm, or by sending me an email at ([email protected]) or by texting me on 0408 698 328.

Regards,

Peter Connor (aka Rollo)

Alright I understand I've already asked this but just 100%ing it because if I need socks I'll get them tomorrow, but are shorts/socks supplied or do we just bring any (Assuming colour doesn't matter)?

pink, blue, primrose don't matter...

Just bring the red and blue jumper and as many additional jumpers as you have...

starting to look forward to meeting you, schmutt...

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc.
