Good work McQueen! Don't get me wrong I like the Hightale also, but you can only have so much of it. Where you can have a good long night on the steam!

Brilliant brewery that place is in Richmond.

Sure is.

Also the most appropriate beer to accompany any meal.

Bringing in the Sheep Dear Lord.

What a unifying presence you are for us all.

Let me test my memory... Beverly Hillbilles, episode entitled "A Plot for Granny".

Hey Hardtack & It's Time, I've never worked out if Jonathan Richman (of The Modern Lovers) is really cool, really dorky or just taking the p.ss? What do you reckon?

Just in case you haven't seen this:

I see that Bowie has sung the Picasso song too.

And Iggy Pop.

I think he is genuinely eccentric, but with all of those other elements mixed in. Always liked Ice Cream Man and Road Runner. Also like his brief appearances throughout the film There's Something About Mary.

Like that clip by the way... sort of Ministry meets Prodigy with extra cheese.

Shut it down mods. Rediculous

I've got no personal argument against you but you are the most shut it down mods online here

Let Sambo 06 learn what its all about in all good time

Just can't wait to read more of this inane chit chat. I'm learning all the time. If I keep reading this crap, I may become a moron like the rest of you. The people that come to this site, in the main, want to learn what's been happening at training. Some of us rely on the info posted here by the TRUE MFC Fans.

Buzz off morons and go to "I Love Myself.com". Leave this site to the true fans that want to discuss all things MFC.

A fine contribution that fits in well with all of the other abusive posts.

So you've got 2 supporters at training who are both admittedly overweight due to exceptional circumstances...

Who have knowingly gone out in public in what has been deemed by some to be ill-fitting clothing.

I'd have thought, having full knowledge of their own situations, they couldn't care less about what others think, and that their health is much more important... And if they do, then maybe they'd have the sense to wear something more appropriate?

At the end of the day, there were some thoughtless remarks made, but the reactions are a bit over the top.

Especially when you have one poster threatening to take his bat and ball, and go home.

Move on, everyone.

I'm not even sure the code of conduct comes into play when remarking on something you've seen in public, rather than a particular poster (at least not knowingly).

Oh I think I get it. So your saying that if you were called a condescending, short-sighted, insensitive so and so on this forum, you wouldn't care because your health is more important and the people who have taken offence should move on because you wouldn't be offended?

Ok. That fixes everything. Very diplomatic Machsy.

you make a joke that goes wrong, you apologise. Why wouldn't you want to?

  • REPORT: Port Adelaide

Of course, it’s not the backline, you might argue and you would probably be right. It’s the boot studder (do they still have them?), the midfield, the recruiting staff, the forward line, the kicking coach, the Board, the interchange bench, the supporters, the folk at Casey, the head coach and the club psychologist  It’s all of them and all of us for having expectations that were sufficiently high to have believed three weeks ago that a restoration of the Melbourne team to a position where we might still be in contention for a finals berth when the time for the midseason bye arrived. Now let’s look at what happened over the period of time since Melbourne overwhelmed the Sydney Swans at the MCG in late May when it kicked 8.2 to 5.3 in the final quarter (and that was after scoring 3.8 to two straight goals in the second term).

  • CASEY: Essendon

Casey’s unbeaten run was extended for at least another fortnight after the Demons overran a persistent Essendon line up by 29 points at ETU Stadium in Port Melbourne last night. After conceding the first goal of the evening, Casey went on a scoring spree from about ten minutes in, with five unanswered majors with its fleet of midsized runners headed by the much improved Paddy Cross who kicked two in quick succession and livewire Ricky Mentha who also kicked an early goal. Leading the charge was recruit of the year, Riley Bonner while Bailey Laurie continued his impressive vein of form. With Tom Campbell missing from the lineup, Will Verrall stepped up to the plate demonstrating his improvement under the veteran ruckman’s tutelage. The Demons were looking comfortable for much of the second quarter and held a 25-point lead until the Bombers struck back with two goals in the shadows of half time. On the other side of the main break their revival continued with first three goals of the half. Harry Sharp, who had been quiet scrambled in the Demons’ first score of the third term to bring the margin back to a single point at the 17 minute mark and the game became an arm-wrestle for the remainder of the quarter and into the final moments of the last.

  • POSTGAME: Port Adelaide

The Demons simply did not take their opportunities when they presented themselves and ultimately when down by 25 points effectively ending their finals chances. Goal kicking practice during the Bye?
