What should be the initial priorities of the new CEO?

1. Ensure all our best recruits are re-signed.

2. Go out and find a marquee midfielder plus 2 other star players. Has to be done, club has to spend the money.

3. If Neeld does not stay, get a Paul Roos or someone with like credentials.

1. Tell Don, the whole football club rises and falls together. No more administration is doing good blah blah.

2. Rip through he club, find the leaks, find the sooks and get rid.

3. Lead by example, sick of hearing all these plans and bullshite, just freaking do it!

Just remember that the CEO's main job is to oversee the club as a business, and to tie the life of the club into a business model that works. From this, onfield success is supposed to be a natural, organic product of club cohesion.

1. Get Don to leave

2. Find some real sponsors

3. Cut back on admin staff

4. Unite the club

1. Get new blazers. Country Road has a nice padded elbow number that pairs well with a red sweater (for branding).

2. More brass instruments to play the song before the game. The Bugler looks lonely.

3. Add some more crap to the logo. Surely we can get a picture of the MCG, Norm Smith and Barass in there.

;)

Hahahaha... you don't think the first 3 may hinder the 4th? Far out...

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
