That's it, give in to your hate, strike me down....

That's a bit biblical Stuie. You're not really taking this seriously .....are you?

You might class it as biblical if you're one of the many who class their religion as "Jedi" on the last census....

Hey stuie , you do realise that you've become involved in the very thing you were complaining about ^_^ Lol

In all seriousness , there's not a great deal to talk about, apart from the tanking rubbish . The Biff and BBO show (with special guest appearances by dc and Wyl) is over my head but somehow still raises a chuckle . I used to laugh at 'Laugh In' and never knew why (none of us did)

We need a poll !

Can we let Yoda, Range Rover, Neeldstherealdeal, NoMoreMrNiceGuy, 'Fletch' back for an hour so he can 'launch' one?

Hey Macca-nothing goes over your head .

Dont play innocent with me.

Jazz ,Cricket ,Comedy ,Footy-so many diverse interests-but at least you discuss them in their designated areas just like Neeld does in 2013.

Actually being factual. Have a look through Biffen and BBO's posts those are the most common themes.

mostly stuie because its what most who are posting want to talk about atmo.

other than the inquisition there is nothing more interesting.

not interested in more blah pre season crapp.

when the practice matches start & we see the semblance of form, than interest may increase.

atmo I think most are peeved at the afl, the game, the papers, & to a lesser extent the club.

Dean Bailey's forward spread and running patterns were outstanding - when they were on! It was the almost total absence of defensive structures around the ground that stuffed us around. Even really good defensive footballers like Chip found it tough to be defensive with no structure for support.

2013 will be a pleasure/pain year for mine.

PLEASURE

I don't reckon we will get beaten once by 10 goals. We will slowly become that team who is hard to beat. Most of our losses will be within 20 points.

We will surprise lazy teams like Bombers, Tigers, St. Kilda and probably beat them

Our skill level will finally rise. Blease, Toumpas, Watts, Clark, - these players are skillful and will be delivering into our forward 50.

We get to see a spine of Frawley, McDonald, Jones, Dawes, Clark and a midfield including Trengove, McKenzie, Sylvia, Grimes, Viney, Toumpas etc...

Our body size means we match it at the contest with Pies, Eagles, Hawks, Swans.

PAIN

Through inexperience and some brain-fades we will lose to teams we should beat - Brisbane, North Melbourne etc...

Our skill level will hurt us when we think we are past the worst

Our interstate record is appalling and I can't see this changing too much yet. GWS and Suns aside.

10 wins maximum for me this year.

agree, the Roos/Lyon contested footy, floods & press's changed the game, just as Bailey had begun his rebuild.

the change imo short circuited his plans & the lack of footy dept spend would not have helped.

he was caught in the crossfire of player rebellion and the youth push with list management.

its been awkward since that time.

You are not as deluded as your name suggests. There is precious little footy happening ATM. Therefore talking BS is A good alternative.

Just as many as yours sunshine..

Just imagine what Australian Media would be like WITHOUT the ABC for a moment.....

Rupert would have a field day...The ABC is far more balanced than that [censored].

WYL, I think they truly believe that would be good for us all.

thats the problem, eyes too close together, are no better than one eye, or a cyclops. they are all impaired.

Everyone's diverse Biff - in their own way . Some even get out more !

I have no idea how to get this thread back on track ... sorry Wyl

It's like Seinfeld - the thread about nothing .

Though I can see us re-visiting this thread - if we start winning games .

Happy Festivus.

Cant see us winning one game in the next few weeks.

In the meantime we should continue working on the Pennski file.

    REDLEG PRIDE by Meggs

Hump day mid-week footy at the Redlegs home ground is a great opportunity to build on our recent improved competitiveness playing in the red and blue.   The jumper has a few other colours this week with the rainbow Pride flag flying this round to celebrate people from all walks of life coming together, being accepted. AFLW has been a benchmark when it comes to inclusivity and a safe workplace.  The team will run out in a specially designed guernsey for this game and also the following week

    REDEEMING by Meggs

It was such a balmy spring evening for this mid-week BNCA Pink Lady match at our favourite venue Ikon Park between two teams that had not won a game since round one.   After last week’s insipid bombing, the DeeArmy banner correctly deemanded that our players ‘go in hard, go in strong, go in fighting’, and girl they sure did!   The first quarter goals by Alyssa Bannan and Alyssia Pisano were simply stunning, and it was 4 goals to nil by half-time.   Kudos to Mick Stinear.

    REDEEM by Meggs

How will Mick Stinear and his dwindling list of fit and available Demons respond to last week’s 65-point capitulation to the Bombers, the team’s biggest loss in history?   As a minimum he will expect genuine effort from all of his players when Melbourne takes on the GWS Giants at Ikon Park this Thursday.  Happily, the ground remains a favourite Melbourne venue of players and spectators alike and will provide an opportunity for the Demons to redeem themselves. Injuries to star play

    EASYBEATS by Meggs

A beautiful sunny Friday afternoon, with a light breeze and a strong Windy Hill crowd set the scene, inviting one team to seize the day and take the important four points on offer. For the Demons it was not a good Friday, easily beaten by an all-time largest losing margin of 65 points.   Essendon threw themselves into action today, winning most of the contests and had three early goals with Daria Bannister on fire.  In contrast the Demons were dropping marks, hesitant in close and comm
