Geez, we're a highly negative bunch. Grab a knife and a fork and start eating our own.

No. Watch the final series closely. Get better and stronger or die.

Gysberts wont get picked up by the Hawks,

Its a mystery why Cam did but I bet he's glad he wasnt out there in the first quarter.

I was in the stand and it was scarey.

Imagine Jack Watts out there.

Imagine Jack Watts out there.

Jack Watts should spend the summer watching Adam Goodes at work.

He could be that good if he really wanted to get there.

Unfortunately, AFL footy will always be too hot for Jack Watts.

What would you know mate?

Play much AFL yourself or just like bringing down the future of the club?

Opinion.

But, I want go on with it, it's not a Watts thread.

Fair enough mate. Didn't mean to jump down your throat BTW.

The title of the thread should begin "Herald-Sun Falsely reports Gysberts" etc.

I'm sick of the media trying to tear us apart .

they get it wrong so often and still keep a job .

Biffen, keep your humour intact - you and I both know that the old 'played AFL footy, have ya?' is tired and simplistic.

You didn't stuie, no worries. I love talking footy with you.

Not really-in my limited experience I'd rather have a guy like Watts on the team than not.

Anyhow-jokes are fine but Watts jokes on here are tired and simplistic also.

I'm not joking about Watts - but it's not the appropriate thread.

I'm in W.A watching the wafl semi final and dayle garlett has kicked acouple goals and

Looks like a real player. I hope he slips to pick 12!

Can you honestly see Cook playing in September on the MCG?

I was referring to Gysberts.

Is he a big lad?

I don't think that Neeld will recruit waifs...

Nope. Compared to last nights game, battlers.

Mitch Clark attacks the contest with authority. There is a huge if subtle difference.

Mitch Clarke yes, but is it Nature or Nurture.

Is it Mitch himself or did he learn the Leigh Matthews/Brisbane Lions attitudes, or is it a combination of the Matthews attitudes + recruiting a young Clarke who has a Zeal for the 'Contest', in the first place.

If it started with Clarkes 'Nature' before drafting,,,, how much is it then, the Environment of nurturing this combative personality thru a healthy Club Environment, which Encourages it's boys to play 'Rough', without fear of silent condemnation from within some sectors of the support base???

Gysberts isn't perfect, but he clearly has talent.

I am more than happy to get rid of players who have been in the system for ages and failed, but Gysberts has plenty of time on his side and with glimpses of usable talent, it would be a lazy and soft option to get rid of him.

Neeld has to back himself to make something of these sorts of kids, otherwise what sort of coach is he?

The kind that realizes it's much easier to find people with the right attitude than make them.

Koby Stevens just kicked a good hard running goal for east Fremantle.

Would love to trade Morton for him haha please mn.

  • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chances—plenty of them—but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Port’s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.
