What would restore your confidence?

Anything less than finals next year and I'm done. I've wasted $10,000's supporting this club and donating and I'm not getting any pleasure out of it anymore. Finals is non-negotiable. It would be our seventh year out of finals if we fail again, and that would be downright pathetic. We're already a pack of losers, we need to start winning or we die. It's as simple as that.

Does that mean we're allowed to lose to Gold Coast and GWS?

No but I don't count them as Genuine until 2014

Monocular started with wanting a flag, I moved the target down to a final, and you moved it down to eight wins... Norwood trumped us all by asking santa for three new players.

Yes gentlemen (and ladies) - a bloody flag is surely what we should all be looking for.

Set the bar high!!

1953 - second last: 1954 - runners up: 1955,6,7,9,60 flags!!!!!

What would restore your confidence in MFC if it has been dented by the happenings of 2012 and now the departure of some experienced players?

Finding out that the offer to Brendan Goddard that was too good to refuse was from the Demons?

Finding out that three decent midfielders have some how materialised and are ready to come to the club? LOL

Signing a new midfield coach and new recruiting team?

Or just a couple of surprises come trade period?

Clear the decks, & get 3 topline older footballers who can add 2 yrs of strong culture to those younger, we recruit/draft.

And recruit a couple of mid 20's aged players.

Draft @ least 5 U-18's this year.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
