Bet that is

$ 1.35 seems a tad short we can get better if we guess the margin

Please help as the car needs to picked up tomorrow after a hefty service on Friday

What will be the winning margin guys

I don't know what to make of this one. 3 or 4 weeks ago, I would of been pretty confident GWS would of beaten us, but we have shown more positive signs recently. I would be steering clear of this one and probably just betting on Adelaide overcoming the start against North.

I may go on Betfair and go the doctor

72 points plus

I have no respect for money and it certainly doesn't respect me

Otherwise it would stick around instead of perrennially disappearing

Heres a tip ........ Keep yer money in yer pocket.

GWS +22.5 is paying $2 seems pretty good odds considering their form.

Otherwise Melbourne 40-59 paying $4.90 or 60+ paying $5.50.

It'll either be close with GW giving us a run or a blowout like we did to Adelaide/Freo last year - I don't see it being in between.

Too right Fork EM

never had a bet on footy and never will. That is reserved for the neddies

I like your "messerschmitt" bit

Ever heard the joke regarding the "fokkers" being messerschmitts

Forget the margin, go the double. Adelaide to beat North over 39.5pts $3.15 and Mitch Clarke to kick the most goals $2.25.....thats $7.08!!!

Melbourne will win by heaps as long as they don,t blow the first quarter worrying about money bags $cully.

Or this one. Moloney $5.50 for most disposals. Pretty good bet considering he's a flat track bully!!! Get on it.

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
