Personally I think Sunday evening is the best. I don't finish work until 9pm every weekday and Saturday nights will rule out a few I think.

If I have to miss it such is life it needs to be a date which will suit the greatest majority but my personal preference would be a Sunday night.

Sunday evening works for me as well, now set for 7:30pm 4th march.

I will be signing up shortly lads.

Forgot my password & just waiting for the reset to land in the e-mail

Thumbs up from me on the Sunday Draft suggestion.

I am still digesting JA's scoring system options, I think I am leaning towards the Scoring catergory deciding the tie with a Win not a loss.

Early days we can work through the best scoring dynamics over the next few weeks,

Pumped to be back!

Fantastic!

Like the new setup JA, the 4-4 with Score % counting as only half a stat seems fair and reasonable too. I had Riewoldt last year so him and Trav Cloke you need not fear picking haha.

In regards to the opposite draft order to last year I don't think admin will have the ability to select picking order I think its all generated by computer but correct me if i'm wrong Jattack.

Happy to do it that way if it works though- be an honour taking pick 18 :)

I have the ability to adjust the draft order for the first round. But I am shying away from straight out reverse ladder.

The off season has given me time to dream up a kind of lottery/bidding system that I think has some merit. More on that later.

Keeper leagues are supported by ufooty (where you keep some or all of your players from the previous year) and I think the idea has merit but if we do implement it I think we should start from scratch this year with a view to keeping a set few players for next year.

My Password reset just isn't turning up in the inbox @ the minute.

If it hasn't arrived tommorow I will register again.

The Keeper concept is interesting.

I reckon it would be an interesting twist if we kept our MVP player from 2011 this year.

One player only, one position only - then lets run with the lottery selection process.

Just putting it out there!

Any interest in another league - ideally where people are commited to participating throughout the whole season? I'm happy to set it up unless anyone else wants to.

Yes, I'd definitely be in for this (assuming I can't get into the "A-League").

Count me in.

Can someone forward the invite to JCB as well. I can't PM him due to a lockout i'm guessing?

Okay - have created Demonland league 2. All welcome.

Set to 14 teams - all standard settings (except i allowed captains). Draft date is tentatively set for Thurs 8th March at 8pm - but am happy to change this to a date/time that suits the majority.

JCB is currently suspended JA. He's suspension I think finishes on the 25th of Feb. So it's most likely that I'd say....or his PM's are full and can't receive any PM's. If that's the case he'll need to empty his inbox.

savoydee - please pass on info for JCB's return. Thanks.

I have contacted JCB- He is in- offered to pay. Please advise new ID or how he gains entry to the Ultimate site-does he use his old ID & Password.

Your assistance will be greatly appreciated by him..

He can use same details for logging on as last year to the site, but tell him to use the details JA gave for league number and password posted earlier. Then he's in.

.....Or if he's forgotten last years login, re-register, then choose invited league, enter code and password JA provided.

Thanks IWAP. Have joined your league as Van Diemen.

I can't make Thursday March 8th for the draft, will be o/s from Feb 26th to Mar 11. I'll have my pre-draft rankings all setup and ready to go though.

Good work IWAP!

Happy to help if you have any questions in regards to set up.

I avoided captains for our league. Could add an interesting dynamic.

JCB says thanks, however, he has asked for league ID & PASSWORD as JA cannot contact him. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.I will ring him with these details after gaining it.

OMR has officially entered the Ultimate Footy 2012 building.

Gave up waiting for my old password to arrive & re-reigistered.

Now the homework begins for March 4th Draft Day.

Now to nail a few smokie selections!

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.

  • CASEY: Williamstown

The Casey Demons issued a strong statement to the remaining teams in the VFL race with a thumping 76-point victory in their Elimination Final against Williamstown. This was the sixth consecutive win for the Demons, who stormed into the finals from a long way back with scalps including two of the teams still in flag contention. Senior Coach Taylor Whitford would have been delighted with the manner in which his team opened its finals campaign with high impact after securing the lead early in the game when Jai Culley delivered a precise pass to a lead from Noah Yze, who scored his first of seven straight goals for the day. Yze kicked his second on the quarter time siren, by which time the Demons were already in control. The youngster repeated the dose in the second term as the Seagulls were reduced to mere

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Collingwood

Narrm time isn’t a standard concept—it’s the time within the traditional lands of Narrm, the Woiwurrung name for Melbourne. Indigenous Round runs for rounds 3 and 4 and is a powerful platform to recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in sport, community, and Australian culture. This week, suburban footy returns to the infamous Victoria Park as the mighty Narrm take on the Collingwood Magpies at 1:05pm Narrm time, Sunday 31 August. Come along if you can.
