Ah that pessimism.

No Red, OD has the statistical evidence to supoort his theory.

Its Maths

Maybe it's you.

This has occurred to me for some time Mr Leg.

Perhaps I should move to the hawks it might be just the thing to get them on the right track!

If they haven't settled by now, that is one hell of a cup ...

He got the tea leaves from MessyDrugs!

So the tea leaves are made from strange and mysterious substances

We not got a hope of beating an expansion team next year as their development is far inadvance of our own.

i believe that we have a chance of winning against the Dogs, Druggies, Saints in 2014.

It would be nice to see the Dispair of the faces of the Druggies supporters, but I do like the Dogs as well. Already seen a game at the G against the Saints so would like to see another team play.

North 22nd June

Can we win this game?

Can we win this game?

Seriously doubt it but you will see a good side play well

Are you suggesting I should go to te G and not watch the MFC play.

As a member I feel like I should watch a live game though.

Does Melbourne have any good sport pub that will be playing a Melbourne Game?

Now the first thing is DF you need to get a fixture in front of you.

You will then notice that on June 22nd North play the dees at the MCG.

The only thing wrong with this games is it is Sunday afternoon.

What you need to remember is that if the Dees play out of their skins this year we will IMO win approx. six games.

If you leave out all NON MCG games the chance of seeing a win will be rare.

Go back to my original five games.

All at the G

IMO they will be the best ones to go to.

first two we have a rough chance of a win.

The other three give you the opportunity to see the Dees play a side that will display how the game should be played.

But did the tea leaves sign a waiver? And are in denial? Or just swimmimg around endlessly because they can't sleep? :-)

I would rather you become a Hawk than Frawley.

Ouch!

Stay with us OD as we can see the light at the end of the CS/MN tunnel!

Unfortunately I think you will be stuck with me.

IMO it will be a miracle if Frawley stays.

In his shoes would you?

Yes as I would. Call me old fashioned But I would only want to play for the Dees.

Let us know what you decide, DF. Perhaps we can all meet in the "No T$ No B$" stand that day...

WOW this thread has a stand at the G. I did not know that.

It wouldbe good to catch up with a few DL when I come over.

I do recall there is a special game for interstate supporters to come over.

But OD suggestions look good as well.

Seriously doubt it but you will see a good side play well

... And they'll whinge about it afterwards.

And before. And probably during.

It's North we're talking about.

How many days to the 2014 national draft Redleg?

Quite a few, but only 5 to our first hitout against another club. I have secured medallion seats for this extravaganza.

PS. Will start the draft countdown a few days closer to the event. 270 odd days may be a bit hard to take, then again.

There is no such stand that I am aware of, but we can make one in honour of your visit ...

It is surprising how quickly this event becomes the high light of the MFC year and how early our interest in it starts.

However in 2014 we will still be in the finals race in August so this year I have every confidence the average response will be " what draft'?

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.

  • CASEY: Williamstown

The Casey Demons issued a strong statement to the remaining teams in the VFL race with a thumping 76-point victory in their Elimination Final against Williamstown. This was the sixth consecutive win for the Demons, who stormed into the finals from a long way back with scalps including two of the teams still in flag contention. Senior Coach Taylor Whitford would have been delighted with the manner in which his team opened its finals campaign with high impact after securing the lead early in the game when Jai Culley delivered a precise pass to a lead from Noah Yze, who scored his first of seven straight goals for the day. Yze kicked his second on the quarter time siren, by which time the Demons were already in control. The youngster repeated the dose in the second term as the Seagulls were reduced to mere

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Collingwood

Narrm time isn’t a standard concept—it’s the time within the traditional lands of Narrm, the Woiwurrung name for Melbourne. Indigenous Round runs for rounds 3 and 4 and is a powerful platform to recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in sport, community, and Australian culture. This week, suburban footy returns to the infamous Victoria Park as the mighty Narrm take on the Collingwood Magpies at 1:05pm Narrm time, Sunday 31 August. Come along if you can.

  • AFLW REPORT: St. Kilda

The Dees demolished the Saints in a comprehensive 74-pointshellacking.  We filled our boots with percentage — now a whopping 520.7% — and sit atop the AFLW ladder. Melbourne’s game plan is on fire, and the competition is officially on notice.

  • REPORT: Collingwood

It was yet another disappointing outcome in a disappointing year, with Melbourne missing the finals for the second consecutive season. Indeed, it wasn’t even close, as the Demons' tally of seven wins was less than half the number required to rank among the top eight teams in the competition. When the dust of the game settled and supporters reflected on Melbourne's  six-point defeat at the hands of close game specialists Collingwood, Max Gawn's words about his team’s unfulfilled potential rang true … well, almost.
