No kidney stones today. No foxtel issues today. No MFC losses today. No MFC bad news today. Fair day all in all.

Gee, I hope I don't moz the rest of the day.

Put the moz on us with Frawley, is what you did!

Not that he'll leave, but thanks to a nothing article we now have to suffer through all the incessant fear-mongering, woe-betide-is posting behaviour, and even worse, the fools who throw themselves forward in a desperate effort to be the first to vocally proclaim Frawley is a certainty to leave.

Does he need anyone to pack his bags?

One of my boys is available!

Do you think he has already signed the contract with the Dawks?

Do you think he has already signed the contract with the Dawks?

I am feeling pain again.

Do you think he has already signed the contract with the Dawks?

No idea DF

You will know he is off.

When he says one of two things

I want to be a one club player.

I want to stay with the MFC.

Those are sure indicators he is leaving.

IMO unless there is way more improvement than I expect he will go.

Put yourself in his position

Play finals in 2015 with possible GF appearance or struggle towards tenth?

I think the AFL has created a monster with this free agency. Good players will want to go to the better clubs and they will stay strong and the weaker clubs will have less chance of improving.

Makes a mockery of the draft.

This was created by the players and their union Redleg.

The AFL actually fought it for a few years.

This is totally player driven.

It may well be player driven but my conclusion remains the same.

I was not disagreeing with you Redleg just making the point that it is player driven

We need to stop players driving.

I have actually set my Foxtel IQ to record the NAB Challenge v Richmond courtesy of my iPhone App. The wonders of modern science.

Grrrr you just reminded me how little I get to see MFC games on free to air TV over here.

Biff can you keep your girls under control

It is no better here DF

Unless we start winning games you can largely forget the MFC on free to air.

But its easier for you to get to games?

Great!

Come in to my week day place and find it been ransacked!

And so another AGM is upon us.

I will troop off tonight with great hope as usual.

With a new President, CEO, CFO, Umpteen new Board members and Coach it should at least have some fresh faces.

Should be good to see the differences from a year ago.

Sadly it was at last year's AGM I walked away thinking " Neeld has no idea"

Seriously doubt that will happen this year.

Perhaps next year I can attend with the feeling we are on an upward trend.

Great!

Come in to my week day place and find it been ransacked!

Once had my car broken into DF, I know the feeling.

Like the MFC it is all up from here!

Hope you haven't lost too much. It is a rotten feeling. Good luck in clean up.

Must have been kids

As they appear to have only taken my Xbox, Laptop, Camera,Tablet and Fog Machine

Could have taken much more.

Last week the house across the road was also do over.

I had my car broken into as well many years ago when I was a poor Uni Student, the sods had taken my tunes.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.

  • POSTGAME: North Melbourne

The Demons are finally back at the MCG and finally back on the winners list as they continually chipped away at a spirited Kangaroos side eventually breaking their backs and opening the floodgates to run out winners by 6 goals.
