Im generally a pessimist however their 5 best players are all playing well eg Hall Cooney Griffin.. whilst our usual jets are below their normal selves eg Jurrah Wattsy Scull. We're still only 20 down. We'll win this!!!

JW has been pretty good, probably been our best

Petterd just not up to it,his decision making is very poor.

Harsh. He's been pretty good. It was that last inside 50 decision that was poor.

I can't wait for jeff Geishan to come out and justify the free to higgins laughable

Sylvia hasn't done anything. Green on the wing/middle why?

Crap game of footy

crap umpired game

Yeah i turned to the stats and 10 touches 6 marks a goal is decent. But add Sylvia to the list with big Russia and we'll win this footy game

Look at the replay. Howe was calling for it then moved into the wrong postion. Bobby kicked it to the correct postition.

I agree. I think it was both Ricky and Howe in the wrong. Ricky took a couple of moments too long and Howe didn't double back

Agreed

Agreed

Let's agree that Ricky's mark is a bbeeeaeaaaaauuuuutttttttyyyyyyy!!!!!!!

In games like this,Sylvia never has an influence,he simply doesn't work hard enough.

When we're up by a few goals,he looks alright getting on the end of handballs kicking goals.

Ricky just took MARK OF THE YEAR!!!

Explain? 2 goals in opening 2 mins. Stand up jurrah do something magical.

Leave the game open and Moloney does not do as well. I can't beleive we are playing an open game against the dogs, gee don't they love open free flowing games.

The Demons have slumped to their worst start to a season since 2012, falling to 0–4 after a more spirited showing against the Cats at Kardinia Park. Despite the improved effort, they went down by 39 points, and the road ahead is looking increasingly grim.

It's Game Day, and reinforcements are finally arriving for the Demons—but will it be too little, too late? They're heading down the freeway to face a Cats side returning home to their fortress after two straight losses, desperate to reignite their own season. Can the Demons breathe new life into their campaign, or will it slip even further from their grasp?

  • PREVIEW: Geelong

"It's officially time for some alarm bells. I'm concerned about the lack of impact from their best players." This comment about one of the teams contesting this Friday night’s game came earlier in the week from a so-called expert radio commentator by the name of Kane Cornes. He wasn’t referring to the Melbourne Football Club but rather, this week’s home side, Geelong. The Cats are purring along with 1 win and 2 defeats and a percentage of 126.2 (courtesy of a big win at GMHBA Stadium in Round 1 vs Fremantle) which is one win more than Melbourne and double the percentage so I guess that, in the case of the Demons, its not just alarm bells, but distress signals. But don’t rely on me. Listen to Cornes who said this week about Melbourne:- “They can’t run. If you can’t run at speed and get out of the contest then you’re in trouble.
