Excellent drive by the Broncos but only 3 points ... Peyton looked quite good.

And the Broncos D looked good then, punt for the panthers.

I know nothing about NFL, but this Newton guy is a choker.

TheoX, he hasn't started well, but don't write him off yet, they are playing for the first time and the Broncos D is the best in the league.

Talib does 2 silly acts ... Newton and his offense take advantage.

Denver D killing their good work with sill personal fouls!

Peyton gets picked off ... Denver should have been leading by 2 scores.

Costly.

Newton keeping the Panthers in the game ... however, Denver should be further ahead.

I tipped Denver 27, Carolina 24. 

I expected Denver's defense to be amazing, but surprised Carolina have the 2 turnovers and are so reliant on Newton. Why aren't they running it more with Steward? Draw the Denver defense up?

I also expected Manning to throw at least 2 picks and be bad, with Denver's D and Special teams to bail them out. Which is happening. Probably thought they'd do a little better on offense though.

The strip sack TD and the punt return have been the difference so far. Whoever can make the big plays in the 2nd half probably wins.

Newton is getting pressure like hasn't felt for a long time and he isn't handling it so well.

Panthers front is getting beaten and beaten soundly. If Denver stop the stupid fouls and capitalise on their drives, they will win.

Agreed but any lesser QB might have been destroyed by now

Panthers just can't get their game going ... but that's because the Broncos have been all over them.

A TD for the Broncos here could be telling
