Brad Green 200 Games this week

Featured Replies

Masive respect to Brad Green.

It is diabolical that he is not current captain, or at least vice captain.

And considering the two guys we have in those spots, it becomes something way beyond diabolical.

Greeny, you are a star and your toughness is an inspiration.

Are you bagging James McDonald, YM? I give you more credit for insight than most, but that's just wrong. Junior's a champ and deserves the Captaincy in my opinion, but even if I'm wrong about that, you can't say that he's a "diabolical" captain.

Hes not a good enough player to be captain.

He has no impact on games any more.

He is a warrior, and gives his all. But the captain also needs to be a great player that influences games.

Great effort Mr Green.

Congratulations to Brad Green.....

Has been wrongly undervalued during his career, and I hope he goes out yet again and shows what a courageous and genuine champion he is.

He is a wonderful asset to and for this club, on and off the field, and it will be an honour to cheer him on in his 200th!!!

Another very good game from Brad, inspirational player.

In the Rohan Bail article on the website he highlights how good Green has been for him.

He also mentioned they watched a highlights vid of Green's career. Can anyone with Schwabby's twitter ask him to get someone to chuck it on youtube?

A little baby boy born this morning as well. A definite tough nut father son in 18 years for the dees

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
