I had a bit of fun with this and this is what i came up with.

http://www.afl.com.au/offseason/afldraftma...50/Default.aspx

You punch in your key attributes you look for per position and it spits out names and has videos and a small write up of your player.

Went for Positions i think need filling. Possibly manipulated the first 2.

1st pick Midfielder = Scully

2nd pick Midfielder = Trengove

3rd pick Med Forward = Mitch Duncan

4th pick Tall Forward = Tom Hill

5th pick Small Def = George Long

6th pick Ruck = Broc Mccauley

7th pick Med Mid = Liam Tobin

With regards to pick 6 - Broc McCauley.

For what it's worth I've seen Broc McCauley's development first hand and actually played a number of games against him. I would consider him a similar player/development to Stefan Martin. He's a ruckman who is extremely agile and mobile. Spent 2006 playing top level basketball and would have played for the GC Blaze had he pursued basketball, also played Soccer for Qld Roar 2nds in 2006 and AFL for Southport Sharks. He has an outstanding leap (due to his size and basketball background) and for a big fella is surprisingly quick (thus his ability to play as a key forward). Recorded a 14 beep test during the 2007 preseason which I would consider to be very good for a ruckman.

Broc played AFL for the first time at 16 and really only full time at 18 (in 2006) and for the last 3 years has played at Southport. He took the spot of Jeff White in the QAFL game representing Queensland against the NT this year. He has outstanding natural ability, is a 202cm mobile ruckman who has kicked a number of bags of 6 at Southport this year. I'd love to see him picked up as a mature age rookie with our no 1 pick in the rookie draft, but feel other clubs may have already taken notice after passing him over in the last years National draft. I'd go as far as saying if we end up using our pick 34 in the National draft, he would be an ideal pick up as a 22 yr old ready made ruckman, who with some further AFL development could become a very good AFL player.

Ive never heard of my 4th 5th 6th or 7th pick. Draft Machine found them for me.

I saw Duncan in the champs and really liked the look of him. I reckon he will make a great roaming forward able to play stints in the midfield.

What do you know of Tobin and what are his chances of being drafted?

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
