Just had notice this morning to say that Foxtel will be broadcasting this match. ABC will show highlights at half time as per notification to me regarding this matter from the ABC as per Dear John

Thank you for your email.

ABC Sport has advised that Fox Sports have the rights to provide the full telecast of the TAC Cup prior to the ABC's LIVE HD broadcast of the VFL Grand Final. However the result of the TAC Cup and highlights of the game will be provided at half time on our VFL telecast.

I hope you enjoy the match. Thank you for your interest in the ABC.

Kind regards

When is this?

Friday week,25th September, at the Etihad stadium. It is the match before the VFL grand final. Previously played for a lifetime now before AFL grand final where the Under 16's will play.At least we will have the opportunity to see possible draft picks play now and in the future..

Thanks mate appreciate it

I vehemently dislike it being played at Etihad.

Doubt if we'll see Tom Scully. Dandenong Stingrays are rank underdogs to win the prelim final v Geelong Falcons.

I'll be there.

Scully was underused last week due to the comfortable nature of Dandenong's win.

Will be good to see him in the thick of it on Friday night.

Yep, too young. Will be eligible next year. I'm assuming GC will pick him up. Whole family is MFC, so would be great to see him in the red and blue. Highly doubt it. Very short also. Not sure of his official height. But he comes in at a good time because of the GC. Otherwise his height may have been an issue. But GC will be picking up anyone and everyone with a bit of talent.

That's not to say he wouldn't get drafted if not for the GC, because he's a great footballer. But teams might bulk at his height. Unless he spruces up in 12 months. Has very large hips and legs. Moves a bit like Judd.

He has grown enormously this year- whilst it shows 170 in the list-I think he would be near 180 now. Also note, GC will have many to look closely at. He should try to get MFC to allow him to train with them-early next year.Is he a member of the AIS/Afl .Look forward to watching him live tmoro.

REMINDER- LIVE TONIGHT ON FOXTELL 501 @4PM. HIGHLIGHTS TO BE SHOWN DURING HALF TIME ON ABC (VFL FINAL)

Keep and eye on Carlisle 33 and Temel 1.

Both will be under pick #11 / #18 consideration. From this morning age:

Jake Carlisle shapes as one of the better tall players on offer this year, and may become a first-round choice, while Serhat Temel's marking has made a big impression during the finals series and potentially helped shoot him up the draft order. He has taken 21 contested marks and kicked 17 goals in the first three weeks of the finals.

I will do so- heading to the match to watch it live. One gets a better feel for it. Have watched all finals now.

Think Temel is a beauty. Carlisle a very good developer- very versatile back or forward- but by gee I really like Talia.

Give my thoughts after the game- hope you can watch it and enjoy it. Temel has a bit of Franklin in him- X FACTOR- FLAIR

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
