Wheatley to follow Robbo

Featured Replies

Wheaters lost the handball on the footy show today and said in answer to a question that he would be happy to play on next year if someone was interested in him.

Interesting.

I can't see anyone picking him up though....too injury-prone for mine

May as well roll the dice and find out. You never know your luck in a big city. All the best Wheats.

If the question was asked this time last year i would have said 50/50.

This year, no. Needed to stay injury free this year.

If I was another club looking at recycling a senior player at bargain basement prices, Wheatley would be a lot more appealing than Robbo. He can play several positions and had an incredible season last year, was just burdened by injury after that. And he still has one of the best long kicks in the league.

I reckon Sydney might bite. They love recycled players and he's also the type they normally go for, has pace, creates run and is a long kick. All the best Wheaters

Wheat's kicking would be dead handy for the Swannies on the SCG esp

Could be a big jump this weekend for Wheats, from Casey two's to Melbourne for his last game with the club.
