Carlton are equal 4th at $16.00

Richard Pratt must have run out of things to spend money on.

excuse my ignorance, but does that mean they will give whatever odds you want for the dees?

1 dollar for 1 million dollarss..............................

no no no

1 dollar for 1 billion dollars..................hahah

Stranger things have happened.... well maybe not but its worth a go for a dollar if you can put whatever odds you want on it

Sure does, according to WJ's post. Meaning they will probably be offering $1000-1 + , I'd imagine.

I've been thinking of putting a bit of my hard earned on us making the 8. Haven't looked yet but sure to get good odds and I really think we are a chance.

That would be wasting money, IMO your bet should remain alive until around Rounds 11-14, based on last seasons form that is..

Those are ridiculous odds for Carlton. No way they can beat Hawthorn or Geelong. They'll scrape into the eight at best.

As for us, well, what did people expect?

Give the dollar to charity instead.

Either way you'll never see any financial return but at least that way you'll know you're making a positive contribution.

That warm fuzzy feeling is priceless.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
