Definetly spots available - will be good to have you.

Postions will be confirmed by the coach, captain and/or leadership team on the day.

I will add you to the list. Just come on down on match day.

One of their posters 'Italian Styles' is a big full forward with a big kick and a big engine. Picture Batista but with less defined abs.

Anyway. Count me out as i'm sure to have a large case of CBF after Derby Day.

And yeh Rollo, Cribbes is in Europe atm. I'll see if his mates animal and woody are keen.

Good luck fellas

Soft Zibba.

All, with only a couple of weeks before kick off, we need committment, posts and complete dedication from each and every one of you. If you can play, confirm, if you are a maybe, keep this forum post as up to date as possible so we can get a true indication as to who is IN and who is OUT. We encourage all to bring other Melbourne supporters or even the occasional social football or recreational football players with them, or nominate them onto our playing list. All welcome. These are social games with a taste of fun footy flair. What we need now is committment from everyone. If you are unable to play, we encourage you to nominate and assist in other forms ie: drinkboys or drinkgirls, time keepers, goal and boundary umpires or even a photographer. What good is a day out if there aren't any photographs or very famous club song on video at the end of the day! These forum games make for a great day, and is our prime opportunity to put on the mighty RED and BLUE jumper and represent our great club.

All positions will be decided by the coaches, captain and/or the leadership group on the day.

Leadership Group, if I have left something out, please edit and post.

GO DEES.

Water? Can't mix that with Scotch

Spoke to Billy about the game last night, he's in!!! Blessed and Wise will be lining up in the guts again!!

Sweet, we are set! I wonder how many Brock Mclean's we will have running around for us this year

Would you blokes do us all a favour and shirtfront that [censored] big danny g. Going by his name (and ergo the psychology associated with wanting to openly declare oneself as 'big') he'll probably be the fattest bloke on the ground, so he shouldn't be too hard to spot.

From the sound of some of the guys we've got lined up, this is going to be a massacre of biblical proportions. I might come down and have a shifty.

"My nephew Pringle..."

hey, WJ, pringle already posted...

Oops  ... but it does show you the intense dedication and love of the Demons by the family.

As for this big danny g. I'm not endorsing any tough physical action whatsoever. The tactic will be the same one we used successfully earlier in the year against Saintsational's gun player. We'll assign someone to smother him with love and kisses. ;)

in terms of a name for the trophy, somebody on talking carlton has mentioned earl spalding...

we play saintsational for "big carl"...

what about we play the bluebuggers for "the duke" ??

(sorry, I meant to say BLUE BUGGERS...)

come on, people...

want to hear some howls of approval or alternative suggestions...

We should play them for a wooden spoon seeing how bad both teams have been lately.

come on, people...

want to hear some howls of approval or alternative suggestions...

The Ron Barassi Cup... ??

That the Casey Scorpions bloke?

I'd play but I would kick 12 goals and embarass everyone.

Barassi & Spalding are the obvious ones.

Some others for debate;

Greg Wells, Sean Charles, Brent Heaver, Peter McLean, Vinnie Catoggio............

Yep, Vinnie all the way!!!

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.

The Demons are finally back at the MCG and finally back on the winners list as they continually chipped away at a spirited Kangaroos side eventually breaking their backs and opening the floodgates to run out winners by 6 goals.
