were CJ's disposals in rounds 14,15,16,17

and not many of them were clangers rhino....

he then got injured..... i think thats finding a fair bit of the ball.... or would you prefer Bell?

...........

............

...........

Players IN - Adam Thomson, Greg Bentley and Mitch Thorp.

Players OUT - Aaron Davey, Brad Green, Paul Wheatley, Jared Rivers

If it panned out that way I would be stoked! Is realistic I think!

Realistic? I think not. If you were coach, there would be one thing guaranteed at least. That is we'd get another wooden spoon.

Adam Thomson's gone to Richmond.

Good numbers but did they impact the opposition. Nup.

At best CJ is MOR and there is an issue over his timidity toward the contest.

He is a 3rd round trade at best. I am neither here nor there about whether he stays or goes. If he stays he needs to lift further in 2009.

stupid comment!!

your saying that those games didnt influence the result of the game?? is that what you mean??

well ok.... then why dont we trade the whole list then.... including everyones favourite brucey!!!

I think you could say that about your whole reply.

You cant even read and comprehend my response and you have to concoct a meaning that clearly was not intended to make a juvenile and rather silly retort.

Never has a tag name so aptly described a poster.

People keep trying to ;) !!!

I'd be stoked with either of those, people on here overrate Davey massively. And before you all start dribbling about marketability let me tell you I couldn't give a flying rat's rectum. Bindi freakin Irwin is marketable but I don't want her in the forward pocket, I just want a premiership before I die.

Agreed. A player's "marketability" is directly related to his match winning abilities. We haven't seen this from Aaron on a consistent basis ever! By all reports Jack Watts could be a match winner so let's invest our "marketing" dollars into him and the rest of the young players coming through. By the sounds of things Davey's staying, but if an early second rounder or higher came the club's way I reckon they'd jump at it. 2 more days to find out.

Holy [censored] I should have known better than to come on here during trade week. *bails*

Run Trav, Run.....save yourself ;) :D !!!

Wait! Before you go, what happened to your avatar?

EDIT: Obviously long gone. Maybe traded also.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
