He should have had a shot on goal, that kick where he missed the diving mark was horrible and should have hit the mark and should have been a easy chest mark, the other was he was running in the 50 and I think it was junior needed to chip it to him and didn't, from a distance looks like bartram, was confusing at times.

When he gets the ball he looks nothing like Bartram ;)

Looked well suited to the game. Not a bad debut at all. He is still at high school.

Noticed alot of his movement with the ball in his hands reminded me of someone who used to wear the No.2 for Melbourne. Does anyone see this?

And it's not Robert Flower.....

......anyway I see a bit of Stephen Tingay in him, for fwiw.

Yes, one to watch for the future. Very composed for a smaller guy still completing his VCE playing up against the big boys.

Good debut, didn't look overawed with the pace of the game, good disposal and decision making.

Looks like a player.

Boy this kid is exciting, he has that kind of lightning decision making that wouldn't look out of place at geelong.

In fact I am going to say that of our currently listed players he has the most pur talent with the ball, despite missing a goal here or there.

He just needs to demand the ball more and understand that because he is far more skilled than the likes of Jamar or Miller he has to be the one that makes the proactive decisions.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
