I promised that pictures of the big carl trophy (with our last victory engraved) would be posted on site...

What a magnificent sight.

The only thing won this year by a team representing Melbourne. Isn't it about time something was done to change that?

Do you think Billy "Blessed Hands" Morgan could get a run with the Dees atm. Actually he did a time trial around Princess Park last month, and his time would have placed him in the top three at the Bombers.

"Billy "Blessed Hands" Morgan could get a run with the Dees atm ??

I think Billy would need to beef up a little. Maybe Austin could bring him back a couple of fat turtles ??

thanks, nasher, but the timing was not good...

you could have used a slow news week !!

A terrific sight. Great to finally see the pictures.

Looking forward to the next game.

  • PREVIEW: Brisbane

They really had me fooled when I picked them with great confidence to beat the Bombers at Gather Round last week. I should have recognised that nothing is more quintessentially Melbourne than defeating the undefeated early premiership favourite one week and losing to a winless cellar dweller on its way to establishing a record losing streak the next.

Melbourne’s much vaunted finishing power evaporated at Adelaide Oval on Saturday afternoon, exposed for the third time in four years by its Essendon Gather Round hoodoo.
