  1. Yes I can tell you but I insist we use the Cone of Silence!
  2. Latest number I heard on the news was 3,200 MFC membership tickets sold for the game. I thought the club could have organised two diesel Locomotives and a few hundred carriages from somewhere for a Deetrain direct to Perth with a thousand fanatics on board. Would need at least 4 or 5 restaurant cars to keep the fans lubricated.
  3. They said on SEN that 2,600 club membership tickets had been sold up to this morning.

Che Will be Will be. Que?
  5. 1964 I was a six year old in a MFC family but we went skiing up at Perisher Valley! The old man got a bit complacent, thought there would be many more finals to be played. He was born in Cooma and was keen to get back to his early days skiing in the Snowy Mountains pre WWII. We loved it and I can still remember my first run down a slippery slope, so no issue with missing the GF.
  6. Wednesday 0945 hrs.

Exactly where are you Dfrog and are you attending the game?
  8. If I keep the reigning All Australian and the widely acknowledged AFL No 1 small forward goalless in his most important game of the year, should I be pizzed off that I didn’t even make the AA squad.
  9. Re Salem, I watched the replay again and Daisey Pearce pointed out that Salem felt for his hammy or groin when going back for a ball in the third I think but he played out the game. Fingers crossed.
  10. Both Martin and Dangermouse have had good seasons, not great seasons by any measure.
  11. Is that Saty in the background I saw?
  12. It would help if we had a legit ruckman to go with Draper. He is killing us in the ruck contests.
  13. 6 Viney 5 Gawn 4 TMac 3 Petracca 2 Oliver 1 Hibberd

Try Hogan and Lever. About time the Dawks copped some injuries.
  15. No times listed but I will wander by tomorrow to see if anyone is training. My wife is off to Hawthorn’s open training session tomorrow morning and asked if I wanted to come along! Is she kidding? So I said I was going to our training instead.

    Hallelujah brother!
  17. No lateral movements that I saw, just running laps but at high tempo. Looked fit to go to me.
  18. Yes me to I have climbed Mount Sinai but I didn’t get any commandments! No mention of Roosy but then again Swooper was coach back then when I made the ascent and he was blessed.
  19. I think I remember giving him votes the match before last. Not bottom six but I agree he needs to lift this week.

Watched him today at training. When they were doing a goal kicking drill from different positions and evading players to kick goals he was very accurate. The boy can actually kick. The knock on him is his tendency to bomb the ball, this can be fixed with some coaching I believe. Plus he genuinely wants to improve, you see it at every training session. He is a keeper in my mind.

I have put a fair bit of money at good odds on the Dorks for this week’s match and for the flag! The poor bastards don’t know they are doomed to failure at some stage this final series.
  22. I have secretly put money on Hawthorn to win to jinx them! I never win anything.
  23. Mrs Hood barracks for Hawthorn so we were thinking of booking early for West Coast as one of our teams will be playing but the airline ticket prices have gone through the roof. Price gouging!
  24. I heard on Channel 9 Sunday Footy show today that the club would be making all 22 players from Friday’s game available to the media this week. This has me a bit worried. I hope it doesn’t distract players from the main game. We need to win the next game!
