I think they are being serious. Verral and Fullerton were made to look amateurish by the Coburg ruckman. When he wasn’t physically pushing them out of the contest to win the centre taps, he was grabbing it out of the air to handball to his mids or running forward to mark and kick goals. I have never understood why no one at 2 clubs has ever tried him down back as an intercept defender. He did play some good games for Casey as a ruck I think. The guy has ability, he has size and is mobile but he doesn’t have that aggression and swagger you need to be a KPF.
