Great... You would be calling us a one man side on that comment.. AND a man who cannot even get on the park.. Maybe I would have a lot more sympathy had he been a long term player having given great service to the club..We must get real and ask the following questions... How long is the injury expected to keep him out of the game ?? Can we get an accurate Medical assessment ?? Is he certain to be available for a full pre season ? If the answer to the latter question is yes, then .. Persevere.. IF no we cannot afford to continue with a contract which may have no real substance.. We must face the facts and not be paying out such big money in hope ... remuneration/contracts should be re negotiated in circumstances such as these.. The question would then follow (if he is out indefinitely) Are you prepared to sit down with the club and talk contract re- negotiation. ? If the answer is no.. then who then is being selfish... ? The Club or the player ??

Jones , Frawley Garland for starters. not the Sylvia, Jamar or Gillies as the names you so sarcastically wrote. Surely the first three players to be delisted or traded (if possible but probably no value) would be Toumpas (no idea ,just seems to run aimlessly around packs without real purpose and I know he has supporters on this site) Nicholson (no clues and cannot kick) and Jordy (sorry but not up to AFL senior standard)... we must be ruthless now and clean out this list and these are probably only three of at least 8 that we must be looking at.. Slow process but needs to be done.. Waited long enough for this club to start making positive moves and stop persevering with sub standard players...

I would say that your contact must be Paul Roos himself as he would be the only person who would know what he is doing re the MFC job and even then judging from his attitude on camera even HE is not sure... Let's move on and continue our search for a genuine, more interested candidate whom will bring passion to the Club. I don't see anything in Roos demeanor to convince me he will put his total heart into the MFC and although I may be howled down for this, (and won't care if I am) I believe Roos was presented with a ready made list when Eade moved on.. Who says he would lift us out of our current predicament ?? Although I do not doubt he will be moving on with a better list than we currently have..Choco for me would be better for us ... He is passionate, seemingly a very committed person and definitely wears his heart on his sleeve AND very importantly, is knowledgeable on today's game. I see him as a better proposition for our club.

Fark Roos !! He is playing a game and I cannot ever see his heart being in the Melbourne Football Club... MOVE ON please or Miss out... again.!! Broad is not the only "cheat" to have stood his ground after obviously hitting the ball.. But a cheating pattern is emerging with that guy...he is becoming a bit of a devious sleezy cricketer.. He was also the player who decided to take off his boot and pull the innersole out , then readjust it and proceed to slowly re tie his laces 2 minutes before the belated luncheon break , in order to deliberately waste time when Australia was on an obvious roll, being only 20 runs off winning the game at that stage.. (the weak umpires did nothing to stop this unsportsmanlike act and should be condemned) The luncheon break most assuredly allowed England's no. 1 strike bowler, James Anderson to rest up during the 40 minute lunch interval as he was almost completely " spent" (and cramping) at that vital time in the game.. Result.... out comes Anderson after lunch , refreshed and ready to go again. He then proceeded to take the wicket of Haddin compliments of Hawk eye. I would suggest they dispense with human umpires in future and play matches with electronic only decision makers. All decisions could then be given by the "turd" umpire.. Doesn't matter how long it may take to confirm a no ball etc as the time wasted could not be longer than Broad's boot changing episode from yesterday....
