Thank you for that brief and accurate portrayal of the truth hardtrack.. As promised I am not going to waste any more time replying to the biased and name calling Ben Hur. and I keep my promises.. not like John Howard and surprise surprise .. I was immediately called a "fool" by Ben Hur... Of course I am a fool for wasting my time with him in the first pace,..I knew from his previous posts that neither reason or common sense was part of his culture .I have learned that arguing about politics or religion with a "dyed in the woo"l Liberal or a person committed to a certain religious belief is a complete waste of time..I don't believe I was arguing ..I was originally stating a point of view until Ben Hur decided to get personal as he always does with anyone on this site he chooses not to agree with..

If you do not have enough character and desire to get off your Anus and DO something to improve yourself and NOT rely on a coach or someone else to motivate you ..then you will NEVER make it... !! Don't blame the coach for your Farkin poor attitude and your lack of motivation... How P/Weak is that ? How much motivation do REAL pros need... From my experience virtually NONE !! THAT is what's wrong with the culture in this Club and it will continue to remain behind everyone else while that culture exists. Get some players and people with real qualities around our club ...NOW.. !! The coach cannot change the players' soft c..ck culture whatever he tries ..It is an inbuilt mental weakness coupled most times with a lack of the required talent..

If he succeeds at another club I will be totally amazed and will lose faith in my judgment which is normally not too bad..You cannot put courage and ability into a person whom doesn't have any... Sorry Jack , you may be a nice lad but an AFL footballer ? NO ! All was too easy when you were playing against schoolboys and under 18's.. but the real men have found you out.. Please continue to keep your signature off a MFC future contract and go and annoy Carlton or somebody else.. You are not needed here if our Club wants to get fair dinkum about it's on field future.. I am not here to start arguing with the likes of you all day and do not intend doing so . I am not a Greeny and at this stage support neither major party but I have read enough of your "political" posts to come to the conclusion that nothing would pursuade you to change your Liberal views and I do not intend trying. You may call it courage when referring to Howard changing his mind on the GST but I see it as typical of a Politician breaking an unrealistic promise as the one relating to the GST proved to be. Howard's courage was on the same level as his cricket bowling ability .....non existent...as the whole country saw...in his "nerdy" attempt to convince people he had some idea of how to play cricket.. As far as I am concerned .. Throughout my life I have found that Academic qualifications have not always automatically meant the person holding them is necessarily a better person than someone without them nor does it always mean they are more intelligent in most general everyday life experiences. I have met many well academically "qualified" people who haven't had a clue about life in general and were in fact quite oblivious to what was going on around them.. I most times prefer the opinions of people who have generally experienced life and not those "sheltered " from reality as I believe Rudd and particularly Abbott have been. They don't live in the "real world"....They just do their best to try and stuff it up for those that do..... and they are doing a good job of that.. (in my opinion)

It's not the coach... It's our soft C..ck Player culture... We have been like it for years.. About 8 players willing to give something for the club and the rest just turning up and putting their hands out for an undeserved pay cheque.. We don't have a good enough list to prevent the "soft C..ks from getting a game.. and so it goes on and on and on over many years.. sadly..

I am getting to the stage now where I really don't care who is in or out .. We are an absolute rabble and I am at a loss to see where we are going to ever become a force again , at least in the next 5 years and maybe beyond.. Yesterday's game left me very "hollow"and all the hype about we will do this or we will do that and who is going to be delisted and who is going to leave etc. has just got me bewildered and thinking , let's just face reality.... WE ARE AT THE LOWEST POINT IN OUR HISTORY and the future does not at this stage look too promising.... Fark.. I have given up being optimistic about the future of the MFC and I am by nature an optimistic person.. Who cares who is in this week or out this week .. they are still the same old talentless faces..Of the many red faced moments I had yesterday (and there were plenty) the disgraceful moment when Howe totally stuffed up that goal in the goal square after we looked so good getting it to him .. All who were watching the game with me , including two bloody Freo supporters just shook their heads in disbelief and couldn't help feeling some concern for all Dees supporters about the way we are playing at the moment... So sad ... Where the hell are we heading ? I love this club, but I am not sure whether I will ever enjoy another AFL Season..

Who did Roos take over the Sydney job from ??? Wasn't most of that list already well on the way to success ? I would rather Eade take over our (unsuccessful) list.and mould it..If we can get a Coach with Eade's ability , why the hell are some of us being negative and making comments like, "he hasn't won a flag" etc,. We are looking for a top coach aren't we ? and Eade appears to fit that bill, Roos wil go to Brisbane..We don't have too many Premiership coaches available do we ? (Choco and Roos the only two) ...

According to 360 on Fox last night, Roos is likely bound for Brisbane Lions.. I would rather put my money on that... May be the reason Voss is walking today... That's why he was "playing" with MFC....... just saying... .

and we will never progress until we get one (overs or not) and even then we will need many more changes within and on our playing list.. Not prepared to hear anymore of the weak feeble excuses I have been hearing for at least the last decade... Suffered enough... !!!

That would be an absolute disaster and would mean our culture or method of selecting bloody assistant coaches who are unproven as No.1 Coaches is still alive and well .... and UNACCEPTABLE.. !! I sincerely hope it is just a rumour... I also heard this on today's Footy Show on Channel 9....

No it wasn't "dumb luck" as you call it.. His Father was up in Sydney the previous March, before the season proper started, actually negotiating certain terms and conditions with GWS.. That was published just after he left MFC...

Wow ! Don't hold back... Unfortunately you may be hitting a nerve, so to speak. Most of those who are not enjoying themselves or not giving there all are being paid the kind of money I I wouldn't mind receiving for sitting around most of the day doing stuff all... That to me is where the MFC is wasting a lot of cold , hard cash and a lot of it Members hard earned...

There are some posters on DL who seem to take exception to posts which do not quite comply with what they consider factual (in their eyes) or in line with their thinking... I experienced this when I was a Rookie Demonlander....I have "clashed" with them in the course of my postings, but do not want to bother going over that ground again because happily they now do not bother me... I found that if I disagreed with them I was personally berated or insulted but as I said then and still say now I was not in the least bothered... I am happy with what I write and wouldn't write it if I wasn't... I enjoy most of my communication on DL and am happy to say that while we are going through bad times at the moment I am confident our day will come... Well, sort of... lol... .

Yes... Drop Howe.. He has been non existent over the past few games. Needs a run with Casey.. As you can see by my profile Howe is/was one of my favourite players but he has dropped right off like a few others and he now looks to me as though he is just running around looking to take one of those "marks" he is known for. Unfortunately he is beginning to look like that is ALL he will be known for. Sorry Jeremy but you need to convince me you can pick up a few hard ball gets... I am taking a step back from you until you show more. Drop Watts as well .. He is an absolute waste of space. Let him look for a team with a coach that suits him as that appears to be what he is looking for...Be prepared for another hiding... We will not improve until we improve our list... 2014 ???? Who knows..
