Inside Game Day vs St Kilda
I really hope they look into the demon store, last year i went down to Melbourne with a Carlton mate, we went to the Blues store first and he picked out some things for himself and his kids, then we went to the demon store, the difference in what was sold for Blues supporters compared to Demons was damning. Fingers crossed we can get some more options i.e. golf shirts, jumpers, jackets etc.

POSTGAME: Rd 01 vs St. Kilda
I wasn’t sure what to expect today, went in expecting the worse (new game plan, new coach, new players, youth) but hoping for the best. Once the saints kicked 3-4 goals in the first quarter, I started to get a bit worried. Was really impressed and excited by the brand of football and the buy in by all the players. Pros: Winning a close one for a change ball movement Best game I have seen Petty play in years Max being max Roo producing after such a sold preseason The enjoyment watching the Picketts. Concerns: lever, appears to be more suited to a zone defence, he looked lost, slow indecisive when guarding + ball in hand Watching it from TV was hard but we looked second to the ball a lot, don’t know if that is by design? PS - it’s hard to laugh at the saints for over paying when we’re paying a bloke $3.5 mill to run around for another team…

Come on BBP, that was a nice evening compared to the rest of summer we have experienced in the sunshine state! brand Petracca’s manager is already causing issues within the suns organisation, she has been more involved/demanding of the suns time, then the suns media manager which is causing the suns issues!

Farewell Clayton Oliver
Unfortunately, like a lot of people in society, they struggle to take responsibility for their own actions / lives. It is far easier to blame someone else instead of looking internally. I think it's great that he continues to do media, it just reinforces that we made the right decision to move him on at any cost and that he wasn't the right fit anymore.

I know a man who can help us out in the interim....- New jumper sponsors?
I’m getting Lightening McQueen vibes, but instead of Rust-eze Medicated Bumper Ointment sponsor it’s Penrite, let’s hope it means how fast we’re going to play…..- Farewell Clayton Oliver
That's the fittest I have seen him look day #1 of preseason for 3-4 years...- Welcome to Demonland: Xavier Taylor
Im hoping the comment “was good to get best on field and also off field” was just a young bloke trying to be cool in front of his friends. I immediately thought “ohh you didn’t need to say that”.- Dawn of a new Era - Paul Guerra article 18.10.2025
Paul has struck with a new sponsor, it doesn’t say anything about shorts / jersey sponsor melbournefc.com.auWelcome home | Melbourne and Harcourts co-sign as partnersHarcourts, Australia’s fastest-growing real estate brand, has banged the gavel as the Official Real Estate Partner of the Melbourne Football Club.- Incoming Presidents Message to Members
- Welcome to Demonland: Jack Steele
Ross’s comments about footy being messy, contracts being messy, trade period being messy (paraphrasing), as an excuse to trade out Steele was extremely poor, watch him implode the saints again and move into a coaching director role somewhere when it gets all too hard, he should be one of the most under pressure coaches going into 2026- Farewell Clayton Oliver
He’s spot on, it’s the worst contract in AFL history and that sits squarely with the club and Oliver! Let’s hope it’s a wake up call for the club. No high performance organisation gives these contracts out. It’s sad that Oliver didn’t hold up his end of the deal and now the club (especially the old regime) holds all consequences and not Oliver.- Bailey Humphrey

The next three days is going to be an absolute punish….. All I can picture is DF wife asking him to help clean up after the BBQ, “sorry Darl I’m talking to my friends on the internet”- Farewell Clayton Oliver
Never summarized that Clarry has put us down the bottom of the ladder, more we get very little back for a 4 x best and fairest, 2 x coaches award winner in regards to a trade or decent draft concession and the absolute kicker is, we have to pay up to half of his salary. I have highlighted in bold some of your quotes, which I personally cannot agree with, his literal job is to turn up fit, rehab any niggling injuries, listen to his coaches, dont be a distraction to follow players / coaches / MFC and bust his backside at training and on game day for the team that he is very handsomely paid for to do. MFC role was to provide a safe environment for players to develop and contend for premierships. If you sign a contract for that value and length, it comes with some expectations that you have to be the uber professional and deliver - he hasn't for the past two years since he signed that contract. Hindsight is the club SHOULD NOT have offered him that contract, yet he accepted it and all the scrutiny with being one of the AFL's highest paid players. I loved watching Clarry at his best for MFC, we wouldn't have won a flag without him, BUT he needs to take complete responsibility on where his football career is at now, its because of him he's not playing for the MFC, its because of his professionalism that he has to move interstate, the whole its everyone else's fault is getting very long in the tooth.- Farewell Clayton Oliver
I’m finding it hard to feel sorry for this bloke, you draft them, develop them, turn them into premiership players, pay them what most aussies could only dream of making, to where we’re now. He hasn’t held up his end of the bargain and now our club suffers incredibly from it, not only are we paying for him to play elsewhere, we don’t even get something decent in return. Incredibly selfish and immature from Clayton, I’m sure the playing group is ecstatic to see the back of him.- Farewell Christian Petracca
That turns the supporters necks this far….. 🙅🏻♂️- Farewell Christian Petracca
Sorry Cameron, that’s a complete Shizzen hoisin deal, we’ll chat again in 2026!!!- Bailey Humphrey
Has there been a truce between parties to negotiate in private without the ambulance chasing, rubbish bin hiding scum bags (Hi Tom) commentating on it 4 x per day through radio and social media......- Bailey Humphrey
A few people on this thread are forgetting how good Trac is at his best, yes he was coming back from injury this year, but his heart isn’t in it, the GC suns are getting a big time finals player who can tear a game apart “when he wants too”. Humphreys is potential where is Trac has already done it on the big stage. Trac is an absolute A-Grader when he’s invested, unfortunately for us he couldn’t give a funk for us, he turned up, clipped his ticket and did the bare minimum….- Bailey Humphrey
What could possibly the Hawks or Pies offer the suns for Humphrey? Are they just throwing their hat in the ring for the sake of it? If the hawks could bring in Merrit and BH, that shows how poorly our list management has been since 2021….- Bailey Humphrey
