160th Anniversary Jumper
Ambivalent about this one at the moment. Shame the AFL logo is so prominent and the sponsors.

Why can't we play the G?
We can. This kind of thinking that 'we can't play at the G' tends toward the superstitious. No offence intended. I'm a little superstitious myself, just not about our losses at the G.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
I surprised to hear his left handed. I recall him favouring his right hand when handballing. It makes more sense of his unusual hand position when dropping the ball.
-
Farewell Jesse Hogan
How do you listen to a post? Hehe. He holds the ball in a way to suit his left boot, kind of; but his run up, as silly as it looks, is for his right boot.

Frosty comes in from the cold!
Strong game by Frosty. He's a gun!

My 3 word player analysis V Swans
I'm saying Sydney are more than a "half decent side". I think we're somewhere around the average level pushing above.

My 3 word player analysis V Swans
A half decent side would be a team like Essendon not Sydney.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
If the season was over, then maybe i'd talk trades. We got to use what we've got for now. What happens when your newly recruited player starts under preforming..... trade talks begin again? Hogan's fix's the one flaw in his game eg, instead of stuttering up to his set shot at goal like he's trying to pull off a ridiculous dance maneuver and just kick the skin off it; he'd at the very least be a 50/50 chance and we'd all love him.
-
Farewell Jesse Hogan
He's a bad set shot kick, but a good field kick.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
I agree on discussing what would be helpful, I just don't like the hysterical premise. The season's not over, we need positive solutions now, not next year. Maybe play Hogan strictly at half forward and in the middle next week?

Farewell Jesse Hogan
What a depressing thread!

Alex Neal-Bullen
I was hopeful as well, but he sprayed a shot like that last week, or maybe the week before. I find the most frustrating thing with him isn't so much his missed shot, but his lack of physicality.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Calm down sweetie.

Alex Neal-Bullen
Garlett would be one. But he hasn't been good for awhile.

What was wrong with Ped's game? Spargo? The others would be better in our two's though.

Melbourne and Matthews
The worst part about the Leigh Matthews statue is that it's at the MCG. I for one don't want to look at that! Should be getting shat on by pigeons at Glenferrie.
-
My 3 word player analysis V Geelong
I'm ashamed to even read these above words! joeboy you must of been an amazing player! Where to begin. Fritsch was awesome tonight. Spargo very good again. Clarry very good. Big Max Awesome. Jordan Lewis classy. Frost was good. Jones played well as usual. Angus good and spirited. Harmes was busy retarding there's. Jeffy not so good. Jake Melk great when he was there. Petracca doing good things. Nev Jed great. Big Tom fantastic. Dom better, but still problematic. Joel smith great fighting ability and still very promising. Salem class. Bernie. Reassures us. (Back off haters). Kennedy looking fitter. Oscar exposed again. Jesse good when in possession. We lost when we should of won. Jones needs to command more off the ball. Composure in the final minutes could of won this match. We lost when we should of won, so I personally look at all the positives.

Petracca in a rut?
Hallelujah!! That's the attitude; an actual supporter! Good on you Roost, he will be a champion as long as we the people of Melbourne support him.
-
Petracca in a rut?
I agree. Players who do that give me no confidence in their accuracy. Having said that Dusty and Danger do as well. Both of them obviously kick well most of the the time, but ever now and again they miss their targets unexpectedly.

Cyril Rioli
When I heard he'd announced his retirement I was so glad. I'm sick of seeing him embarrass our defenders. Yes, he was a very good player; that's why i'm glad to see the back of him. If he'd kept playing, disgusting Hawthorn would be stronger.

Steele Escapes Penalty for Gut Punch
Typical double standards of the AFL; hysterical about some forms of violence, uninterested in other forms.
