Gawn is a such a good ruckman that it would be a waste to leave him down forward as well. Would be interesting to see if we give Spencer a run to try and use him as trade bait. Good experienced ruckmen don't come cheap.

Absolutely awesome to hear Spencer starting to step up. Let's hope he can actually replicate on game day. Spencer is a competitive beast who was really only let down by his own ability rather than endeavour. How does the team fit both Spencer and Gawn into the same team?

I had a conference at the Glass House yesterday next to the Pies ground. They had the music blaring from the sidelines as well. Worth noting that they looked pretty bloody average, especially going forward. A lot of passes dropping short or going straight to a defender. So much for the highest rated midfield in the comp!

I admire your enthusiasm for him, but I put him the same box as Grimes. The game has gone well past him. We now have players that look to take the game, instead of going sideways or looking for the bomb down the boundary. Garland has no issues defending, but apart from the occasional fancy side-step or the occasional stint up forward, he hasn't shown anything to demonstrate he can transition from a defensive minded player to someone who can take the game on. I can't see him getting a game unless we have injury problems.

Same here. Missus grabbed me the pair with the cactuses. Really high quality shorts that actually fit blokes with thick thighs like myself, which are harder to find than you think. Highly recommend.

Jeez Richmond looked very average up until the last 15 minutes. If Carlton could kick straight the game could have been all over for the tigs. Hi guys, Just received a parking fine from Hulme Council for parking on a nature strip. Considering how chokkas the ground and surrounding streets were, I'm pretty annoyed. Clearly the council were rubbing their hands together at the prospect of all the parking fines they'd collect. Anyone else get stung?

There was a breeze, but it wasn't a gale or anything. Maybe it was a lot worse on the ground? Clearly it impacted the game, but it felt like a breeze to be honest.
