Ok, driving home today I was listening to SEN, they mentioned Tex would most likely sit out this week and I thought they said Betts and Sloane would return in the next couple. Matt Crouch returned last week, not sure about Brad but with the addition of Gibbs and the emergence of Doedee they have a pretty strong side.

No we shouldn’t look to far ahead but it we don’t win the next three games we should start planning for next year. 6 and 3 would be a good result but we need to keep perspective on who we have beaten. By the time we play Adelaide they will be close to full strength so it will be the only real gauge we get over the next month.

Can you please elaborate, I only saw parts of the game on my phone as I was working yesterday. Games recorded on FOX will hopefully get to watch it tonight.

No excuses today. Hawks also had key players out. We’re still a key forward and gun mid away. Coaching succession plan has not worked. Cut ties and move on. We’ve drawn so many lines in the sand we’re currently in Cairns.

The only way I can bet on Melbourne is to take them each way in a multi. We have the talent to win today but we are arguably the most mentally inconsistent of all 18 teams.

Let’s revisit the ladder after Hawthorn, Richmond and Essendon. Sitting 3rd after wins against Brisbane and North doesn’t count for a lot.
