Death Riding Fremantle 2023 - Feathered Cap Edition
Bombay Airconditioning replied to adonski's topic in Melbourne Demons
Do you think North could also be a chance? I need to check out their draw. -
Level 2, behind the goals, Punt rd end. Can’t go wrong.
-
Let’s just get through this week first.
-
Until Gawn is back we should be aiming to field a line up as close as we can to that of rd 3. So that’s a no to Schache.
-
And that’s the most disappointing part. Only 17 points down at 1/2 time and that was their response. Arrogant, pathetic and embarrassing.
-
Does anyone remember or have a link for who did the sketches of the players? Thanks
-
I’m surprised no one’s suggested Geelong yet.

Right now no, but we have the luxury of trialing him there over the next few weeks. -

Remember when the Pies beat the Cats in rd 1 and many on here said they can’t play like that every week…. -
Let’s not forget they sold pick 7 in last years draft because of salary cap issues , where are they spending their cap?
-
Does anyone honestly still think 19 or 20 teams is right way to go for the good of our competition?

PREGAME: Rd 04 vs West Coast

I hope this is how we line up for the next 10 games (10th being Collingwood). Hibberd to come back when ready but not sure who for. -

I don’t understand why people are determined to get the fwd line back to exactly how it was in 2021. We can do it but it won’t win us the flag this year. -

Next 7 Eagles, Bombers, Tigers, North, Suns, Hawks, Port During these games I’d continue with Petty & JVR as our 2 key fwds with both TMac and Brown at Casey. Tomlinson to come in if we want a 3rd tall down back. This gives Petty and JVR time to settle up fwd before what possibly could our next real test. Freo, Carlton, Pies We’re all aware of how important TMac and Brown were during 2021 but right now they’re both hampered by injuries. Brown yesterday was still attempting to take marks with one hand, then when the ball inevitably hit the ground he offered little else. After seeing what happened yesterday it would be madness not to continue with it. -

Tomlinson and TMac? Where would TMac play? -
I can’t remember any player from either side trying to kick around their body and miss an east set shot on goal.

I posted on another thread during the week and Collingwood having a large number of players hit the scoreboard. Today we had 15 hit the scoreboard, 12 of them kicking goals (3 players with 3 and 3 with 2). In the first half of 2021 TMac stood up for us, he was massive up fwd, in the back half and through the finals Brown played some great games. Both were instrumental in our premiership year but after watching todays game I’m not sure either of them are any longer in our best 22. Fast ball movement into a mobile diverse fwd line is the key.

17 (that’s including Jordan) Premiership players out there today. The team looks strong as does Sydney’s, perfect day for footy, as always no excuses.

And just like that we’re in Melbourne, we caught the first flight as it’s never delayed. Got a few hours to kill in the CBD. Looking fwd to a big response today, Oliver’s 150th and JVR debuting. Carn the DEES
