Love what the club has done with O Mac. He’s proven to be a vital player for us in the past and has plenty to offer in the future. He’s done some terrific shut down jobs in the last 18 months, Darling the most recent only a few weeks back. Kennedy kicked 4 on us that night in Perth and we didn’t hear a peep about his opponent that night. He will have to work hard to get back in the side and as a supporter I’d feel confident to have him back in to do what’s asked of him.

I’d swap Bassett for Matthew Bishop. The guy could seriously gallop for his height. He had a wonderful career at Port.

Can anyone recall if Stretch was one of the held over emergencies for the QB game? I seem to remember he was, if that’s the case his foot was good up to that point so the latest flare up, whatever it may be, has happened over the bye round or shortly after. No blame, just rotten luck and a tad deflating to see a few more players added to the list.

They produced a stat on the radio earlier today about Charlie Cameron spending a lot of his time at full forward this season. He’s been involved in 39 1 on 1s and hasn’t marked the ball once. It’s when the ball hits the ground he does the damage. Frost would match him for pace and agility imo.

Listening to SEN a short time ago and I was a little shocked to hear David King say that he believes Jones will lose the captaincy over his incident on the weekend. If anyone else listened in feel free to correct me, but I’m certain that is what I heard King say. Now, Jones might step aside, he might not next year or he might get told we are heading in another direction in terms of leadership, but I found the remark by King a little over the top to be honest. Call it a brain fade, ill disciplined, a flop by the flopper, flying the flag, whatever... I don’t believe this incident alone will cost Jones the captaincy. People were up in arms on here as to why no one flew the flag for Max having his head rubbed against the Eagles. Probably would have ended up in a double play for the Eagles.
