Demons Decade Quiz
Thanks 39. I was trying to remember if it was Hannan or Trac that put us in front but you’re spot on. We never actually trailed in the last quarter.

Demons Decade Quiz
8/10. Tried to be a smart alec by not choosing Watts for kicking the winning goal in the QB clash. Thought it was another trick question like the top half question as he kicked the sealer. Was trying to remember our player that kicked the go ahead goal. The 186 question should have a pass option.

Injury List 2020
The alleged injury to May doesn’t appear to be much of a news story. Possibly, just a ‘precaution’.

The Soccer thread
Same Layz, i honestly didn’t think they would go down this path. Only late last night whilst flicking through some online news I came across a headline which read something like ‘Man U waiting for Poch sacking’ and I thought more clickbait , then I read the news this morning.

Poch Sacked ? Can’t post links for some reason. Gary Lineker having a dig at Spurs on Twitter by saying good luck in finding someone better. Where to now?

TRAINING: Monday 18th November 2019
Does anyone know the extent of Spargo’s injury? From memory he suffered some kind of knock in the leg last week during a session and now we’re told he’s in a moon boot. Hopefully it’s a minor one, unlucky if he misses a fair chunk of the preseason just when he would be looking to start strong for a bounce back season.

The Rise of Tracc
Another Data Game video on the AFL website this morning giving him some more credit for his very good year. Good to see Trac getting some credit on here too. Interestingly, the Champion Data person on the video (Daniel Hoyne I believe) thinks Trac should have been in discussions for the AA squad with his numbers. Elite in 3 categories and Above Average In 2 as a general forward. It’s because of our season he probably wasn’t discussed. He can take a lot of confidence into next year and he’s on top of my list for a player to watch.

Ranked 8th Best List for 2020
I guess he rates Grundy better than Max. Pffft!

Jayden Hunt - forward or back
Having a look again at some of his highlights in 2016-17, he was breathtaking at times as a dashing half-back flanker. Some great running goals and would lower eyes hitting teammates. Hasn’t been the same since end of 2017 but his 2019 was good as a forward option. I’d use him as a forward again to start next season. In a year where it was plain horrible for our forward line he acquitted himself well I thought. I’m still curious as to why he got dropped for the Sydney game. I don’t think he was as bad as some say when shifted back against Richmond and Coll. He did a very good job on Rioli and the following week everyone was lost at sea against the Pies in the Mihocek show.

Out of Contract Players 2020
Multiple clubs enquired about Petracca this year but there wasn't any interest from the 23-year-old or the Demons in moving him. The above is from an AFL.com article about our club’s most intriguing unsigned player for 2020. Enquiring doesn’t necessarily mean teams made a play for Trac, there was talk on here the Cats were interested, just wondering if anyone knows which other clubs enquired. In the current AFL landscape players are being courted well in advance of a contract expiring. To me he’s the priority signature for next year. He was very good in 19 and can elevate his game even further, would love to see him locked up well before teams come seriously knocking on our door. From a few training sessions I’ve seen in the last 12 months or so where you are actually close up I’m still amazed at Trac’s core power and strength.

First Injury of the Preseason
Curious, how many on here are moving their little finger around right now to position it like that? I would have fainted long before snapping a pic if my pinky looked like that. Nasty!

Monkey Business
Must admit, fantastic goal by the keeper. That’s the beauty of sport though Wadda....the unexpected and we know the risks if we take a punt. I’ve backed AC many times since that goal and I’ve been on the receiving end of some lucky finishes, one as recently as mid week. Juventus scored a very late winner in Champs league for a winning multi. Good luck overnight all, my odds were $10.20 for a buck.

TRAINING: Monday 4th November 2019
Does T Mac look a little more beefed up in the chest/upper body area to anyone else? The pics might be a little deceiving and we haven’t seen T Mac out there for a while. Looks a tad bigger to me. Wonder how hard he’s been hitting the weights. Initial reaction was maybe they want him stronger and bigger to be more of the ‘gorilla’ type rather than just a straight down the line lead type.

A Day at the Races
A joke to pass the time until the big one. Two female teachers Mrs Kay and Mrs Knight took a group of students from grades one and three for a field trip to Flemington Racecourse for the 2019 Melbourne Cup. When it was time to take the children to the bathroom, it was decided that the girls would go with one teacher and the boys would go with the other. Mrs Kay was assigned to the boys and Mrs Knight the girls. Mrs Kay was waiting outside the men’s toilet when one of the boys came out and told her that none of them could reach the urinal. Having no choice she went and helped the little boys hoisting them up one by one. As she lifted one boy up she couldn’t help but notice that he was unusually well endowed. Trying not to show that she was staring at his equipment Mrs Kay said, ‘You must be in Grade three?’ ‘No ma’am’, he replied. My name is Frankie Dettori and I’m riding Master of Reality in the Cup, but I really appreciate your help.’
