The room was shaking that much cords started falling out of the walls. The almost 3 yr old was the only that could’ve rang 000 since the rest of us almost passed out from the emotions. I’ve been an avid soccer fan all my life but this sport takes us supporters to a whole other level. Amazing feeling!

Dogs remind me of the 2004 version of us. Flying on top a few weeks ago and premiership fancy to every chance of finishing 5th. Most could sense Dogs had used most of their petrol tickets by quarter time. Port just stuck to their guns after copping a few early punches, it wasn’t pretty by them as they fumbled most of the night and it took Boak going forward to make the difference in the game. Could be on my own here, I get peeved when an ump 50 metres away from the play pays a free and the commentators say it was paid by the non-officiating umpire. They all officiate to me, it was the out of zone umpire that paid the free.

The top 5 players on the ground for average speed in defence against the Crows were ours and Brayshaw was the number one player on the ground in that category. I think he’s had a marvellous season and has worked his butt off helping the team defend. I feel we try and find faults when they’re really not there sometimes.

Haven’t seen Gawn move like that ever before, some of his movement in and out of traffic lately is crazy for a big guy. Thought Spargo was excellent in the first half, high footy IQ, reads the game so well and had a lot of scoring involvements. Langdon and Fritsch probably best on for me and pity there was no crowd out there today, imagine the noise cheering Fritsch’s kick through on the siren for a career high. It looked like we’ve had a rough fortnight at times out there but job well done in the end.

To be honest i hadn’t seen a hell of a lot of him at the Suns and wasn’t really keen on letting Jesse go. Around the time we traded for him a few posters stated getting May would be huge for us and I was hoping they were spot on with their comments since they’d seen a lot more of him. They were more than spot on, May has simply been brilliant the last two seasons.

You’re probably correct but we said that about the Giants last week. It’s just a bit of fun picturing the Cats losing all three home games to finish the season.
