  1. Can you put it on YouTube?
  2. My question is, where were the other three Melbourne players? That's what frustrates me.
  3. Agree. As poor as some of the kicking was, it was made to look much worse when they were forced to kick to out-numbered forwards.
  4. He'd get killed by Brown. With nothing to lose, Miller should go to him first up.
  5. Would you like to see Voss coach the MFC?
  6. Would you like to see Voss coach Melbourne next year, Rhino? If not, has this incident changed your mind about him?
  7. Both of your signatures are fairly average...
  8. Is Sylvia a "troublemaker" for hanging out with Didak and passing out in that club?
  9. No, you just said it was debunked.
  10. No. Neitz and Robertson did a very good job. The problem is that for much of the game they were the only forwards, meaning they had no support, there were fewer options up forward to kick it to and St Kilda were able to easily get back and out-number them. The problem was when the mid fielders looked up, had no options, over-used the ball as a result and then turned the ball over.
  11. Yup. The Round 1 game against St Kilda was a perfect example of this.
  12. I guess the question then is, is it the club's fault that they haven't drafted and developed any players properly or were the players just never good enough?
  13. What a strange man. It was almost as if he was doing some sort of mating ritual.
  14. Interesting, there is only one interstate team in the top 8.
  15. 1) Like I said before, 2008 is the future. 2) So my backline with Bizzell is too short? You replace him with Frawley who is 5 cm taller and that is now a big enough backline? Let's just agree to disagree.
  16. 1) 2008 is the future. Bizzell should be around next year. 2) I put Wheatley on a wing. 3) Depending on match-ups (i.e. if the opposition have a tall forward line) a player like Holland can come in, like we saw against Collingwood. 4) Just because the selection committee (Daniher) didn't select Bizzell doesn't mean he shouldn't have been selected. Daniher had many favourites. 5) Even if Bizzell is around for "depth" it doesn't mean he won't get a game. Not only that, it doesn't mean that he isn't valuable. What's your best 22, Jaded?
  17. Current best 22 IMO: FB: Whelan Carroll Bell HB: Bizzell Rivers Petterd C: Johnstone Jones Wheatley HF: Sylvia Bate Green FF: Davey Neitz Robertson Foll: White McDonald McLean Int: P Johnson Bruce Bartram Newton Depending on fitness / form: Frawley Dunn Wheatley Ward Godfrey Brown Moloney Yze Pickett Buckley Holland No matter what team you select, good players will miss out. I'm a huge fan of Moloney and I could have easily put him in the side (the same goes for Dunn), but I believe that this is a good sign of depth. It's not necessarily a bad thing to have good players miss out, as it creates competition within the side. For example, Bizzell may have a bad week or two and Frawley may be dominating at Sandy. Therefore, you drop Bizzell and bring in Frawley and vise versa. But this doesn't mean that Bizzell won't ever play again. People use the argument that Bizzell was dropped at the end of '05, therefore he is no longer any good. That's crap.
  18. Bizzell is important. I get the feeling that after Bizzell got his current contract, people here are never going to like him, no matter how well he plays. Just in case no one has noticed, he has been playing very well.
  19. "Tempo" Football?
  20. Biz didn't look too old when he took that hanger in the dying minutes of yesterday's game.
  21. Because the man who just lost his job was in charge of selecting the teams. Just quickly, my best backline ATM: FB: Whelan Carroll Bell HB: Bizzell Rivers Petterd
  22. He should have done more with that broken leg last year. Poor form Biz. Just because he wasn't selected, doesn't mean he shouldn't have been selected. The selection committee (Daniher) made a lot of bad decisions. Even without injuries he is in the best 18, let alone 22. His recent performances justify this.
  23. Why can't you just accept that Bizzell is still a very good player?
  24. Bizzell was again, very good. He made a couple of mistakes, but so does everyone. He is continually proves those who bag him on this site wrong. Age is not an issue for him as he has in no no way slowed up or become a worse player because of it. He should be given a one year contract extension.
  25. I'm sick of sounding like a broken record, but I have good reason to be. 1) Miller was slightly above average as a defender. 2) Bizzell was very good, both defensively and offensively. He took 15 marks FFS.
