  1. This. How he made it look so easy is beyond me. It also went directly through the middle.
  2. Just needs to get fit.
  3. I swear they are the same person.
  4. A couple of months ago after our important win over Brisbane, when in an interview with Angus Brayshaw Derm decided that would be the best time to suggest that Clayton Oliver always throws the ball.
  5. Derm hates Melbourne but Dunstable doesn’t at all, horrible call.
  6. So Collingwood and Richmond should miss out?
  7. You can only go to the well so many times using left-field things to get a football team to perform.
  8. I think Cripps should be a top five player in the AFL, however he as optimised “trying to do it all himself” for too long now. If Carlton get things right they could jump up the ladder pretty quickly with their list.
  9. In his interview on On The Couch Goodwin admitted moving Fritsch to the backline and won’t was a huge mistake by him. It was refreshing to hear.
  10. I feel for them, we know what they are going through and I’m sure we will go through it again.
  11. I want to touch on the significance of the Harmes kick to Fritsch in the third quarter. Up until that point, Harmes was having a pretty average game I thought and it was his errant handball that set up Bontempelli’s third goal. Therefore, the fact he was able to cleanly gather a loose ball (at a time when we couldn’t collect a ground ball if our lives depended on it) and put that beautiful kick to Fritsch under pressure was a huge moment.
  12. I couldn’t if I tried because of the way we won with a big onslaught at the end.
  13. One call I actually got right.
  14. Twenty Twenty Won.
  15. Agreed, you can see Gawn lost his footing too he wasn’t diving.
  16. He’s got such a powerful kick on him. Some [censored] here (me) said he shouldn’t be in the team for finals.
  17. “Your haircut is atrocious.”
  18. “They had about 16 stoppage goals, which is probably a record,” Hunter said. “They [the clearances] did come out of the front a lot in the centre bounce. Even if you do lose the centre bounce, if you are able to force them back or wide, then that clearance probably doesn’t land at the top of the goal square. It is a lot easier to defend. “Max Gawn probably grabbed it out of the ruck a fair few times which pretty much neutralises any of the midfielders and gets it going their way. As much as we can stop that, it will be good.” - Lachie Hunter, September 22. Yikes.
  19. Agreed, at the time I thought it was worth weeks.
  20. vandenFyfe.
  21. Totally agree, Gawn’s kick was incredibly significant in multiple ways.
  22. Of all the teams to beat the Bulldogs are probably the ones I have no ill feelings towards. Except Lachie Hunter, can’t stand him.
  23. I had the big rush of excitement and emotion when Gawn kicked the goal after the siren in round 23.
  24. Did anyone else find that because of the way we won (onslaught of goals in the end) they never really had a big rush of emotion when we won? Hard to explain, I just never had the cascade of tears that I was expecting.
