  1. There is a massive discrepency between the value of a top pick and the reality of what it is usually worth. In particular, people put so much emphasis on the gap between all the top picks when in reality it is very small.
  2. If that is true it just doesn't make sense that a player leaves a club becuase he was poorly/improperly looked after yet he wants them to be compensated?
  3. Trengove still looks very young and not much bigger than when he was drafted. He certainly doesn't have the strong yet sleek build that many Sydney players seem to have.
  4. I loved him early on but that is wavering, I love that he runs all day and he has legitimate pace, I just wish he could put on a bit more size and fix his kicking action.
  5. I'd feel like a hypocrite for being so critical of the Sydney COLA to be honest. Surely Melbourne have enough room in the salary cap already?
  6. If Melbourne and Adelaide can agree to a trade.
  7. Becuase Frawley is leaving and Melbourne is likely to get pick 3, Melbourne won't get a PP. I would have thought gaining the pick 3 and losing Frawley cancel each other out? I don't care either way to be honest, I just find that excuse very weak.
  8. I hope he enjoyed the PowerPoint presentation.
  9. Apparently Jay Clark is saying that Mitchell will stay at the Swans.
  10. Unless they would prefer one more year of Dangerfield and in that time hope that the new coach can convince him to stay.
  11. Is your mail people in the know or from reading on the internet?
  12. His form in the NAB Challenge was very promising, well worth developing.
  13. It would be interesting to know if having Goodwin helps.
  14. He must be at least 32 years old and won't play in our next premiership.
  15. I don't remember Dangerfield doing a lot in that game.
  16. I don't disagree with how unlucky we have been, but I think it would take something monumental in a short period of time to get a PP.
  17. I think people forget that in most cases you still have to trade for a player. Throwing money at them doesn't mean much if their club isn't willing to trade them.
  18. I think the only way the AFL will give out a PP is if something completely out of control of the club happens which impacts on multiple players at once.
  19. I'd much rather a pick and a player or at the very least both picks in return for Dangerfield and their first pick.
  20. I'd be happy with any of them. I would have thought that Sydney would be more interested in a top pick than GWS are is all.
  21. Tom Mitchell from Sydney.
  22. Do you still think Dangerfield will stay at Adelaide?
