If he's saying "remember my name" in a game of school footy he must already have bought a few tickets on himself.
-
Why has it taken him to be delisted for this to happen?
-
It's got nothing to do with Melbourne, the only information worthwhile is that from Adelaide or Dangerfield himself.
-
The COLA is being removed or phased out this season.

I thought the same thing. -
GOODBYE MITCH CLARK

If true, I feel ripped off to be honest. At least a deal would be done quickly. -
Clubs will be climbing over each other to get him after hearing that.

I was too young to see him play but all my life I've been reminded of his greatness. A truly sad day for football, the Melbourne Football Club and his family. -
The free agency debacle - shame on you AFLPA

I don't think it is the end of the world like everyone is making it out to be, after all Franklin did leave Hawthorn through free agency (albeit to another strong team). I just don't understand why it is needed if players had always been able to dictate where they want to go. -

Clark isn't a free agent and yet he still was able to choose where he goes, why do we need free agency? -
No, I'm just saying improvement will be slow and right now I'm happy to get players who will at the very least get us out of the bottom four. Only from there can we start to build a team that will get into the top eight and then top four.

We need to wait for the trade period to begin. It's unlikely but could still happen.

Nothing can happen until the Free Agency period begins on Friday. -
That sounds like Melbourne's drafting and recruiting strategy from 2008 until 2012.

Melbourne considering shifting its base to MCG

Melbourne still get access to some of the best facilities in the country, why is it an issue that they share with other teams? I know for a fact that the Demons and Storm help each other out a lot with various things including training equipment. -
Agreed entirely.

GOODBYE MITCH CLARK

His manager wanted to talk up how well Clark could go at Geelong but kept restraining himself becuase he probably knows if he talks him up too much Melbourne will want more for him which could slow the whole process down. -
Butcher has the most appropriate name of any player. Yes, he can kick a goal but with his kicking action I wouldn't be putting money on him doing it all too often, and that's when he's not injured.
