    I agree, but we can't afford any more players of their quality in the side before things start going back to how they once were.

    The key is that Collingwood gave up or lost players to free agency (therefore were compensated) who still had some value in Dawes, Thomas, Lumumba, Shaw, Wellingham and Beams.

    I've been saying for a while that Collingwood will be good. Unlike a lot of teams, they got rid of their good players while they still had some value (as much as it has hurt them in recent years).
