Tyson is good, but as Sheedy (allegedly) said, he's "not great". Cripps is probably the best of the three, thankfully we have Oliver who is the closest thing in the AFL to Cripps and those two will most likely be the best two midfielders in the AFL for a decade.

You can't be half-pregnant, you either have a hard salary cap and draft or nothing, there's no point otherwise.

Go back and look at the the VFL/AFL was like when zones were in place, it was a disaster. There is a reason we have a draft and salary cap, they are the two most important aspects to the competition which is why the COLA and academies are the two biggest blights on the current system.

No club should have an academy. The AFL should run an academy that all clubs have equal access to.
