I know you won't read this so I can put what I like, couldn't resist the opening gambit, you deserved it from some of your previous postings, never abused, bit below actually old chap, taking the proverbial, yes, with style, yes........I suppose I was 'blaming' the players, I have never defended where I thought they shoudn't be, if you go back to the Essendon game you will see the same sort of sentiment.....anyway thanks for not reading, and the acknowledgement I have a pair (rather big, if I say so myself)

Sorry darling, been busy with other things (Mother's day pre and post the game), also wanted to put a studied reply rather than go off half cocked. I was totally shattered and disgusted by what was served up yesterday, only my lovely lady stopped me leaving at 3/4 time which we have never done But I am a bit surprised that not many posters are blaming the players, the lack of effort by some of them yesterday was appalling, it bothers me that they continually come out and say we support Neeld and then do that to him I am not sure whether sacking Neeld is the answer, I am even more perplexed and concerned now as to what the issues afflicting the Club actually are, I just know the Neeld has become the scapegoat for everything that is wrong, yes he has made some coaching mistakes, but he tried a few different things after half time yesterday, but the players let him down and didn't follow them through I listened to his presser and to that of Peter Jackson, they seem to be on the same page, I don't know what the outcome will be, the only thing I now for certain is I will be there on Sunday

The only thing you are demonstrating is ignorance, according to some of the posters on here, we were nowhere near AFL standard when Bailey was coach, Including me, we needed to do something, yes the wins were good, but we were stagnating, you going against the grain...Neeld did win a premiership at Collingwood , it takes the whole Club and he was part of it As for driving core talent away, Gysberts can't get a game at Norths, Moloney has had one good game at Brisbane, same with Martin, Jurrah won't even go there unlike you, Rivers was chasing a finals appearance before his knees gave out (injured) Er you have to be confident as a Coach, what don't you want him to be? As for bringing in Duds, it is not only what they do on the field, what's wrong not instant enough for you? Neeld has made mistakes, but not on the scale you are talking about, actually one of them is thinking all MFC supporters are knowledgeable

Who cares, supposedly all heroic on here, so should be able to stand it, bored with the whiners
-
I think at the moment the Board stand alongside Neeld along with the majority of the 30000 members, some on this board only requirement for a coach would be not Neeld and breathing

Yes darling, thank you for asking, have a fulltime job , but Australian Army taught me to speed read and touch type, and job entails running reports on ERP system which take forever and a day, but then completely no responsibilities after work, which is great.....someone has to keep the Demonland Orcs under control

P=Man 2 points - who would u take out to put Magner in, he is too similar to Jones and Viney to carry 3, we have speed in instead, coz everybody keeps crying out for it, but Mat Jones, Evans and Bail need games, and we were only 2 down in the clearances against Carlton, why McKenzie, try watching what he does in close... we just don't have the experience or composure to use the ball well each time we have it Jetta - I am his biggest fan, but he was suspended for a stupid late hit, let's build a culture, let's bring him straight back in, no he has to earn his spot back This topic is full of contradictory rubbish like this Actually no 3 points Sellar can play fwd and back and ruck, perfect tall on bench, GC have three tall fwds, Fitzy has had three games back, another couple of consistent performances and they will have to pick him, earn your spot, and Sellar was excellent for Casey last week If you hate seeing your team struggle, pay your membership if you want, but stay home, and stop whingeing on here

Wow my keyboard rattled with laughter at that one....NOT

Gone and got ourselves a Kiwi!
Satyriconhome replied to whatwhat say what's topic in Melbourne Demons
You must have a low threshold today Old Dee, that was a [censored] weak effort by a keyboard hero, must have been dripping tears on the keys -
I think what he envisaged in the preseason was Clark and Dawes in the forward line together, Trengove completing a full preseason, a couple of others holding their form.......but hey hindsight........notice you didn't reply to the point I made in my post, but then again posters like yourself never do
-
Well said, I asked about Magner, basically seen as backup for Nathan Jones, which god forbid won't happen this season
-
I'm offended by that, I had actually moved out of home at 17, unlike today, and had worked for 4 years and at 19 bought myself a Triumph Bonneville 650, and a rather nice set of bright orange leathers......unfortunately at 19 and half , a rather slow moving furniture removals van turning out of a side street had rendered my bike and my leathers to the scrap heap........but my life continued apace There is not a broad section of the MFC support base dissatisfied......there are a few led by the cloud wearers on here who prefer to believe Caroline Swillson and Damian Ferrett rather than the Club
-
Agree that is all we want, but some of us are actually from the planet Earth and can hear what the plan for going forward is, and that the foundations are going to be set down. Unfortunately unlike some of the more adventurous posters on here, we aren't part of the Club everyday, we don't know the full story, so therefore the only alternative is to actually believe what is being said, tempered by the fact that it is only footy and there are so many variables the plan may actually take some time to implement Whereas the more adventurous can listen to all the rumour/gossip/innuendo/commentarypoor journalism and fill 92 pages on this board with the next bit of rubbish that has popped it's head over the parapet (a fine example being the Roos 'story' from the other day)

Gone and got ourselves a Kiwi!
Satyriconhome replied to whatwhat say what's topic in Melbourne Demons
Just one thing, the game is changing, Miaia's action might not be the classical......but as Casey watchers will know.....Hogan's run up for a set shot would frighten an old time coach, but it works.....same with Jimmy Toumpas, who has the Josh Kennedy shuffle going.... -
Gone and got ourselves a Kiwi!
Satyriconhome replied to whatwhat say what's topic in Melbourne Demons
He is a really nice guy off the field, but he has Maori blood and rugby background, aggression will be the least of his worried. Jason Taylor (our new recruiting guy) is right into finding talent everywhere, saw Maia in NZ just before he took over at MFC and throught he was too good an opportunity to pass up......the fact that he is training with the main group should tell you something about his progression -
No chap, I know exactly where the midfield is, know the Club is working on it, and know there is not a quick fix, coz it there was, we would have done it.......
-
Full pre season is the switch........was sent back to Casey coz just needed a confidence shot, six goals fixed that
-
We were a minus 2 differential in the clearances against Carlton (who are supposedly a gun midfield), how is that getting smashed? Which part of it is improving slowly don't some posters get, and one other point Brian Royal actually stated on the chat last night "I would like one more quality midfielder", so even he agees with what some on here continually harp on about

To all the naysayers I had a chance to chat to him last week in the Change Rooms before the Carlton game, the Club had brought his parents over to show them around. The original plan was to spend Christmas over here then go back and play in the NZAFL, and come back during breaks, fitting in university as well. He has progressed so well, that has now changed to him being over here, training full time, and playing in the VFL development league. His own words "I have the kicking looking ok, handballing is still a bit of an issue, but the rest tackling, running etc, just like another sport" The fitness guys reckon fully trained and developed has the body shape to carry 85kg so won't be skinny. Has a frighteningly good verticlal leap on him Could be absolutely anything. Looking forward to seeing him play -
"Leigh Brown. I've watched this talentless guy sprint on and off the field at each quarter time break, and its like he can't wait to get out of the public eye"......talentless? nearly 250 games at AFL level, yeah right.....out of the public eye, he sat next to me and my lovely lady at Port watching Casey last weekend..........laughable.........

Yes, it is only a minority of self opinionated tossers on here who hate everything about the MFC who don't
-
You forgot.....and make no input to get it......just deserves it.......

Nathan Jones elevated to Captain, Garland to VC
Satyriconhome replied to What's topic in Melbourne Demons
Why?, your post intimated there was something untoward going on, bit sick of hearing that on here, so you wore it, apologies if reaction was too rough, but I have received worse from the O's -
Nathan Jones elevated to Captain, Garland to VC
Satyriconhome replied to What's topic in Melbourne Demons
No it is official, but Neeld has also said the elevation of a rookie will be reviewed each week, but nothing this week (today) -

No I don't, just pouring a bit of boiling scorn on the Demonland Orcs, Magner must not be elevated for a reason, what will the reaction be if we upgrade Clisby, and as for an excuse to drop Trengove.....too many are always looking at the grassy knoll!!!!
