  1. I know it happens, by heroes, my point, I just don't feel the need Correct
  2. In the context of booing Toumpas yes it is, the guy was crucified on here, and has now moved on, the point of booing him is?
  3. Sledging on the field when you are part of the battle is, being a hero on the sidelines isn't
  4. Age is relative WJ, Viney will be leading today, closely followed by Tommy Mc
  5. different player, different club, has zero relevance to this discussion. If you are anybody in the 'footy world' who is outside our club there is a very strong chance you have a low amount of respect for us. That's just a fact. If you don't believe me, pretend you barrack for someone else and ask some random blokes at the pub tonight. You will not get a glowing assessment. Hogan, like everyone else, is part of that group. It will stay that way until we can prove otherwise and make it up around the top 4 for a number of consecutive years. These are hard truths, that you know to be true. Why? Young forward being tempted away to another club Nah sorry, not interested in the opinion of types who occassionally look at the screen between bullshitting to each other and pouring alcohol down their necks Don't give a toss about what others think of my team All I know is that Jesse Hogan is happy at Melbourne at the moment, just like the rest of the team wants success, if we achieve that soon, he will stay
  6. WJ - you have guys who have been to hell and back footy wise, Jetta, Garland, Grimes are just 3 who have the experience, now surrounded by hungry young teammates
  7. So Tom Boyd took the truckfull of cash coz he thought "hang on, the Bulldogs have only won one flag and that was in the 50's, they'll stay that way, but I may as well join them anyway, even if it means leaving a side chock full of top draft picks"
  8. Tragic that is a harsh word committed (or should be) I had a hard day at work servicing people thanks for the reports
  9. WJ Newton JKH and White were out rehabbing at 9 I was chatting to them while I had my morning coffee they all did anout 2 hrs of rehab including that beep test running Dawes was the only one that did very little Don't tell Bernie Vince he didn't do much he did nearly the whole session see the pic on my Twitter Spencer only absentee
  10. Cards, Trenners was fine, I watched a few of the early drills he was involved in, stepping off both feet, and quite a decent pace, reckon he is itching to get a crack at one of the NAB challenge games, got a big smile as he noticed I was taking a picture
  11. Brayshaw is just not noticeable any more which is a good thing, he is just getting through the pre season, I reckon he has been told head down, tick all the boxes, he looks super fit
  12. I was there today, for the White lovers, has had a slight ankle issue, same with Terlich who did part of the session, JKL is hammy HL and King were back in main group for 3/4 , then did an interesting drill with Crossy on the other soccer oval, with one in goal and the other firing shots at them? Trengove did most of everything, looked unencumbered (nice word) Nathan Jones was rehabbing, asked him why, said it was age Hogan is fun to watch in the match sim Only one who didn't seem to be there today was Spencer Hulett hurt himself today, but seemed minor If you have any question feel free, tasmanlvr has the drills covered On the Petracca/Jones front, Trac made his usual smart comment to me when I passed him and Jonesy as they sat and watched the last of the match sim, I actually managed to get him embaressed much to Jonesys' amusement.
  13. Only one with this attitude, you need to get out more, issue has been with the demographic, always looking over their shoulder at the past, my analogy we dug ourselves a hole and promply fell in, we have now found a ladder, just need to climb out of the hole, I have been closely involved with the club for the last 8 years, and have seen a few false dawns I am more optimistic this year, off the field it is all more focused and professional on the footy side, we are developing the young playerd properly, and looking after the older ones both physically and mentally a lot better, I know because I talk to them in Viney Hogan Brayshaw and Salem we have young leaders who crave success and will drag everybody with them to achieve it The list is teally strong with the mix nearly right, would like a bit more defensive cover personally
  14. This has been done to death you have got young guys who have sweated blood to get on an AFL list knowing it could all end with injury or delisting they were told everything was above board hands up anybody who has never gone against their principles so not to lose something there is only one 'guilty" person in all this for me Hird
  15. Thanks for all the reports Not really worried about the skill errors, three more games to get it right, anybody catch any of the Blues Hawks errors everywhere Nev was told to go away and work on his engine over the break, Roos wanted even more output from him, from reports has gone up another level From watching training and the reemergence of Jayden Hunt could see why we kept him Salem is just class (for an Arsenal supporter)
  16. Because ProDee you would be depriving the forum of a 'whipping boy', now that the Toump, Bail, Jordie Mc have gone, somebody needs to inherit the mantle
  17. Good summation about both Jones and Terlich, McCartney praised Terlich "for getting it right" when he helped create a coast to coast goal
  18. I got told by a couple of people at training, next Friday at Casey, doesn't seem to be official yet, I asked
  19. I did say I was told that from a few sources, it may well be, not for me to decide, although you seem to have.
  20. Northbridge on a Saturday night early Sunday morning has always impressed me as a place to be, Freo slide eeek!!!! McQ I have them favourites for the flag, you did see the video of Fyfe at training?
  21. Actually when they are off duty, I leave them alone apart from saying hello, was sitting in one of the locals cafes and so was Jesse and a guy (obviously a Demon supporter) kept peering over the top of his newspaper at him, was like watching a poor 50's spy film, myself and my lady thought it was hilarious not sure Jesse thought that though
