  1. Entertainment old chap expressing opinions like everybody else on here except I don't take it too seriously
  2. I don't incessantly cheerlead but like a lot of things you would have no idea what I talk to the players about, I am allowed an opinion just because I don't go BBBAAAAAA like everbody else it doesn't stop me expressing it, some of the utter tripe written about players on here
  3. Gee a few here really take themselves seriously. Everybody can have an opinion, including me , but in the big scheme of things they mean diddley squat We had a great win at the weekend. But hey let's find somebody to drop to display our superior footy knowledge. Like we have all got it right in the past
  4. So this is the Jesse Hogan who has played less than 50 games and spent a year out with a debilitating back injury right?
  5. Growing a beard tsk tsk displaying mine proudly yesterday goes nice with my 39 jumper
  6. Kent er no, Omac er no, VDB er no hang on Harmes and Garlett if.... anyone makes way it is because the Footy Dept decides not the experts on here
  7. In your opinion, Roos picked him again so he obviously doesn't think so, he hasn't been afraid to drop players, including Jeffy
  8. Who knows what or who we will see this week.........I thought Roos had brought in Bugg to tag Mitchell and he went nowhere near him, Hawthorn probably thought the same thing, and we had Garlett starting on the wing. When you speak to Pedo, he is the ultimate team man, and very popular with his team mates as you can see from the reaction when he kicked his goal, he will accept whatever decision is made on the chin
  9. Hey Tappy best of luck with the reco, I had three all before I was 35, still playing contact sport at 50, and can still walk and run at 64
  10. There are two highlights for me that don't involve the goals and bode well for the future Rioli irons out Oliver, Clarry bends on one knee for the moment, thinks hmmm that's what it is going to be like today and proceeds to attack anything in brown and gold Mitchell trying to bump Petracca, Petracca didn't even notice
  11. He might not get on the end of the goals, but I agree, he helped cause the Dureya drop for the Petracca easy goal also
  12. As much as I am pleased that JKH has got back on the ground, I think 1 game back at VFL, albeit by the sound of it a very good one, don't think Roos would entertain the change
  13. Spoilsport.....as if you can talk about pointless arguments....I remember when
  14. He played, he now works in the media and answers to the ratings of his radio station, could you now answer mine. I served in the Defence Force but my opinion for or against bombing innocent civilians carries the same amount of weight as the Ox
  15. All this talk about Garlett, he did his role, the team played as a team, the 'forwards' ie Petracca, Pedersen, Garlett, Weiderman and VDB all had between 10-15 disposals
  16. I edited my post, you were too quick, had second or third thoughts about what I typed expecting a reply such as yours
  17. You will open a can of worms asking a question like that The club should make the players available unless of course any of them need an op and then a break as specified by the CBA, to return ready for day 1 of pre season....I would say that players like Terlich Grimes Trengove Newton et al will be given the opportunity to put themselves in the shop window during a finals campaign
  18. All right have you got 10 or 20 years of experience as a CEO of a medium sized business, if not then does that mean you can't comment on Schwab? The Ox chases headlines....my opinion
  19. And you have only just figured this out because posters are admitting drinking after the victory, and not some of the previous posts and topics
  20. We have been down this path before, as a footy player I have the greatest respect for the Ox and how he played, he pisses me off as a 'commentator', like a lot of the others
  21. Yes he was, there hasn't been a miraculous change, the development was there all the time, it is just the inconsistency we need to fix
  22. I wasn't being negative. as a footy player I respect the Ox, as a footy 'commentator' I think he is a headline chaser, he goes OTT all the time in my opinion, like most of the others
  23. What? You are actually expecting him to say he was wrong?
