  1. The membership twitter has just disappeared, looked at it and went back not there interesting
  2. It's not that hard on Demonland Jeff will be fine
  3. Agreed what does a contract mean again?
  4. My brain is starting to hurt with all these players we are interested in..............
  5. Can we not develop our own big fish in the next 12 months?
  6. True leadership!!!!!! sign him up, shows versatility, able to adapt to change, can run both ways
  7. he'll be perfect the Pointer is a versatile field dog (well matched with Gawndog) and exceptional family dog breed.(Hawthorn) He excels in many arenas, from the field to the show ring, agility to obedience. Energetic and fun-loving, he’s well suited to active homes where he’ll be a member of the family.
  8. I am surprised that we can actually move the ball down the field at all, according to Demonland we hardly have a player who can hit a target by foot consistently
  9. You will find the rumour was floating for a couple of days but some considered it too ludicrous to spread, shows the "whole game" has changed
  10. You do realise you are talking about a 20 year old who has played 17 games and is at least 5-8kgs short of the playing weight they want him at, you are a very hard taskmaster, read what Nathan Jones said about him on the MFC site, you do respect his opinion of a player? And Frost, Jonesy is quite a fan of him as well
  11. Why? Tyson two top 5 B&F finishes, just about to hit his prime, Frost exciting developing backman and Salem, if we can get his health issues sorted, could be anything
  12. Sorry you don't get the choice when the above happens it's called forced redundancy If FD see Lewis adding something to the team and we get him, cool, if we don't, move on
  13. Yes the leaders should have but as for the ASADA statement, were they asked are you taking supplements or illegal supplements, are you being injected with anything, of course the answer would be yes to supplements all players take supplements of some sort, legal ones that is, they have to for their body to withstand the training, so for ASADA to say they answered No is [censored] what exactly were they asked?
  14. Garlett had a choice of 3 clubs, he picked Melbourne
  15. It is being reported they lied, where you there? All depends on what they were asked and how, as I said I have very little respect for any of the organisations involved because of their past records, inconsistency and political involvement
  16. Totally agree with you Wise, Hibberd yes, decent fwd/ruck as long as no [censored] cost and that is about it Mahoney being saying same thing
  17. What do you mean by that statement, he and Robinson made one mistake and were punished for it, it didn't help that both were frozen out of the club at the time
  18. I tried retirement, it is overated, shift work now, so lots of free time between the shifts blood sweat and tears? over Brunch at a trendy cafe in inner city Melbourne using the free wifi check MFC site and AFL site, no trade news, news site to see what entertainment Trump is providing today then here for a bit of cerebral exercise
  19. I agree with you to a point, but you have young guys entering an environment which is more controlled than te military, some of te guys on here who serve (d) coud attest to that and if they don't follow or do what they are told there are consequences They are told who to associate with Swan, King, Martin They are told how to behave in public Terlich/Georgiou They are told what to and not to drink, Crossy had trouble with the Paleo Diet coz he was conditioned that some of the foods in the diet were no good for you Etc etc Yes they are advised on drugs but if you are assured everything is kosher, the club doctor doesn't have a problem, and it is not compulsory to participate ie Zahka then why 'rock the boat' It has been my opinion since day 1 that the players have been guilty of nothing more than being too naive and stupid in trusting and are the sscapegoats, nobody is going to convince me otherwise
  20. I still don't agree, they were all blinded or maybe that is deafened by the Golden Child who had returned to take them to ptemiership glory. They should have questioned him more? If not questioning is the 'crime' then so be it And how Reid has managed to escape all this will always be beyond me The rest was just a shambles by everybody and now politically they are just tidying it up so it can be confined to history, like the tanking we, Carlton and a few others did
  21. Yes simple answer to that but they should have questioned more but can understand why they didn't
  22. That's your opinion and you are entitled to it, same as I am mine, obviously you are not across my opinion of WADA
  23. Nice to see you agree with one of my points, if you weren't in such a hurry to point score, you would have seen I wrote from start to finish, I am no fan of how the AFL have handled this whole situation My stance on this whole situation is that the players were naive and stupid and should have asked more questions, whether their perormance on the field was enhanced is a matter of conjecture, I don't remember them winning the flag that year, and the comic book scenario for juiced up athletes is for them to blitz all comers My guilty people are Hird, Dank, Reid Robinson and senior management at the club and AFL
